I got this for Christmas for my nerf obsessed 7 year old son. He loves this thing and its taken his nerf game to a new level. He acts so tough when hes wearing it. I have gotten some hilarious home videos out of this product.

I bought this for one of the 3 kids I nanny, a 10 year old boy. He has like a whole area for nerf guns. Lol All the kids opened their presents from me early and he LOVED this! Within a minute he had all the gear on. Lol I know its supposed to be for 14 and up, which I thought was kind of weird, but this was perfect for him!

Two of my grandsons (7 and 5 yrs. old) are obsessed with their Nerf guns. This is perfect to hold all of their bullets. They had a fun time putting everything together and wore their loaded vests all day on Christmas. They were locked and loaded!!

I got this set as it seemed the most affordable way to get a clip for the MEGA darts. The clips seemed to work well for me. It was hard to tell because I bought it for a used centurion that I got in a lot of guns for my son and ended up not being functional. The clip did seem to fit just fine, and the ammo seems to fit well, but due to situations not related to this product, the particular gun I had would tear up the darts.I have no other Mega blaster, so I can't say how the darts function compared to the original, but I made a blow gun for the mega darts and they flew just fine in that. My issue was the elastic bands holding the darts caused depressions and deformed them. I attached a picture and you can see that the elastic bands cut into the product. It happened to every dart that was in the elastic.The company was very persistant that I review the product, I probably got asked 3 times to review the product, but I always wait awhile to write reviews so it was a little annoying to keep getting communications to review so soon to buying the item. I assume it comes from a desire to provide good customer service though, so I don't fault them for that.

I wish my son would have let me take a picture! He filled all of the slots on the vest with candy canes and candy bars and wore it like that on Christmas! He kept saying, "you should always be prepared...in case you need a snack". Of course, it works equally well for it's intended purpose, but why limit yourself?

This little set is great! The vest has been worn by multiple kids, left out in the rain, and been drug through mud. It has held up exceedingly well with no rips or discolorations considering the rough play the kids do while wearing it. Definitely recommend for Nerf wars!

For the price it is a nice gift for kids. There are nice ones out there, but they were more money and most of them were only in adult size.
