An excellent and easy read for getting the most out of your Bible. I bought this for a friend and our church includes it in new Christian packets. A must have for everyone that wants the most from God’s word! I highly recommend the book and its trusted author, Dr. Tim LaHaye.

I picked up this book after readimg Lahaye's Spiritual Temperaments book. I thought it was one of those usual "how to study the Bible" books but I was pleasantly surprised. Since I started reading it, I didn't stop until I was done. Highly recommend especially for new or young believers who need simple and godly guidance. Also backslidden ones who just need to get back in line. God is truly faithful and merciful.

This is a good book for getting acquainted with studying the scriptures! I held a Bible study with this book as the text but the problem was the work pages were a bit small! Getting the students to do the in-depth tracking of their progress on a daily basis was not as successful! We did get into the scriptures with it and cultivating the idea of personal study was motivating but only for a while! All the work involved with getting through, (though one soul did give her life to the Lord) didn't seem to appeal to those in the digital, cell phone, tv age as much as those from my generation. Everything written down kind of thing! Adult students these days don't even like writing home, less know facts about themselves written out for perhaps, all to see!

I am leading a Bible study with young people on how to study the Bible and purchased this book for that purpose. How to Disciple Others After having looked it over thoroughly, I feel it will be an asset to groups or individuals who wish to learn effective ways of studying the Bible. This book will provide understanding of how you can learn directly from God's Word. Along with a Bible and a set of highlighters, I feel this would make a great gift for a new Christian.

This study guide is well thought out, organize, easy to read and comprehend the information to enhance your overall understanding of the Bible!

If you want to get more serious about bible study, then this is definitely the book for you. LaHaye starts by very clearly laying out the reasons why we should be more serious about our study of the bible. He then sets out a plan for reading the bible through. This is no quick fix method but is detailed and thorough, and designed to allow you to immerse yourself in the bible. The first book he recommends you read is 1 John. You read this once a day for seven days, asking yourself questions and looking for what God is saying to you in 4 key areas. Alongside this is a plan for memorising bible verses. As I say this is not for people,who,want to,just read the bble, but for those who are serious about immersing themselves in Gods word and hearing what he wants to say to you today.

this is the type of book that you need time to go through. I have started it and so far I am finding that this is going to help me study well and grow spiritually

I have been a christian for years and i can suggest this book to any reader who wants a fresh approach to studying the bible.In the two months that i have been reading the book, i have bought another copy for someone else and will continue to buy for anyone who needs a frsh approach to studying the bible.I have even gone ahead to order one of the reccomended books. I particularly enjoy the scripture learning aspect.Dont hesitate to buy it.

This book is a systematically written book to help individual to read the bible and understand it for himself/herself. I share the view that the bible was written for even little children to understand it. Therefore one should not wait for a minister to read the bible before he/she can understand. Will recommend the book to everyone
