SoHo Baby Crib Bedding 9 Piece Set, Railroad

I wasn't too thrilled with the $20 shipping, but what can you do? The bedding arrived packed in a nice little zipped rectangular storage bag. Upon opening, I noticed the diaper bag. It seems to be well made & sturdy & comes with a changing pad & 2 smaller zipped pouches. I did not even realize this came with the order, so that was nice! Secondly, I noticed that the pillowcase, fitted sheet, toy bag, & diaper stacker all appear differently than pictured. IRL, they are more detailed with different colors. (Which is nice because compared to the those pieces, the bedskirt & the valances are very plain.) The pieces that are different don't seem to match any other SoHo Designs themed bedding sets. I don't think I recieved the wrong items because they match the quilt, but I do believe the wrong items are pictured. My main gripe is that neither the "description" nor the "features & details" sections stated anything about the quilt being hand washable only. I did wash all the pieces in the washer on the delicate cycle & the quilt did withstand the agitation well as did all the other pieces. Other than that, I am happy with my order & look foreward to decorating my nursery.

This set is very nice.The comforter is a soft sued type material on the back and the front is soft with raised appliques for texture. It can actually be used as a comforter when we convert our little one from a crib to toddler bed as there are no hanger rings on the back (love). The bumpers are plush, textured and soft. The valances (2) are also textured, a soft silk and faux sued feel to them. The crib skirt is also textured the same as the valance.In addition to the crib comforter, Valances (2), bumpers and crib skirt, it also came with a fitted sheet, pillow and pillow case (same texture as valance and crib skirt) diaper stacker, diaper bag and a very thin bib (which I will probably toss out). The diaper bag is well made and cute and comes with two separate zip pouches.The color is a creamy white with a soft mocha brown, exactly as in the pic. My husband had painted the walls white then hand painted murals on all her walls of safari and woodland animals. We have a blue wool carpet in the center of her room and mocha furniture - This set matches it all very nicely.Overall extremely happy with this purchase. The textures and quality were unexpectedly very good for the price. If your looking for a full nursery set that is inexpensive but good quality, these Soho sets will definitely meet your needs!

There aren't a lot of train bedding sets out there (DH loves trains and wants to do the railroad theme in the baby's room), so I'd been keeping my eye on this one for a while. When it was discounted to ~75% off, I really couldn't argue at that point, despite some of the not-so-great reviews. We did prefer other sets, but 1) this is a baby (he won't care!) and 2) the exhorbitant price of the other sets just wasn't worth it (again...this is a baby! He doesn't need a $90 quilt that he can't use anyway!).The product came in a nice little carrying case (not that I'll ever use it again). I immediately washed it all and for the most part it washed well. The little pillow, however, didn't fare so well. It does all say machine-washable but the fluff inside the pillow (there wasn't much to begin with) got all bunched up in the wash. That's okay...it's not like baby will be using the pillow anyway. It's a little misshapen, but I put it on my glider just for decoration. It'll do.The material is kind of thin, so at first some of it looked dirty, but upon closer inspection it's just that you can sort of see through to any fabric underneath. Again, the first washing went fine, but I agree with other reviewers that it might not hold up to several washings. However, at the price (I paid under $50 for the 10-piece set), I could get 2-3 sets for the price of one other train set!I guess my biggest complaint is with the bumper...it doesn't fit around the crib. We have a (Babies R Us) europa baby Palisades convertible crib, and the bumper didn't cover one of the short sides (easiest way to describe it). The ties aren't sewn on very well (they pull off easily, but sewing a tie back on is no big deal) and they don't match up with the rails, so it pulls in some areas and bunches in others. I'm still not sure which side (or partial side) to leave un-bumpered. However, since this is one of the pillow-filling bumpers, it's not recommended for baby's use anyway. What I'm thinking of doing is removing the bumper, snipping off all the ties, and having DH put it up on the top of the wall and use it as decoration (like a fluffy border) instead. Of course, you can't use the quilt for baby either, and both are really super-cute, so I'd like to do SOMETHING with them both. I think we'll end up buying one of those breathable mesh bumpers instead...they come in tons of colors so we can easily get something to match...or maybe something neutral in case the next baby (whenever that is) is a girl!The sheet (we have a Colgate classica foam mattress) and dust ruffle fit great (which doesn't make a lot of sense, since the bumper doesn't fit...) and it all irons very easily. I wish it would come with extra valance pieces instead of the bib (same thinnish material) or diaper stacker (what am I supposed to hang the diaper stacker on? The crib? Who changes a baby in the crib?!). We have two windows in the room and putting one valance on each might look a little funny since they'd be stretched out, but it'll work.I put the toy holder on the outside of the crib next to my glider. I'm not sure why I'd put it in the crib...he won't be playing with any toys at first, and when he gets older I'm worried it will be a safety concern. On the outside of the crib, it's not like the baby could reach the toys in there (maybe it's so that the toys are accessible for parents' use...???), so I figure I'll have it next to the glider and I can put breast pads or something in there.Overall...the price is fantastic. Quality is a little lacking and it's annoying that the bumper doesn't fit, but I figure in the end it'll all work. When our little guy gets older he'll probably want a different theme anyway. I just can't justify spending tons of $$$ on bedding for an infant!

I was really excited to buy this bedding for my son. The packaging that it came in was so cheap looking, the zipper was broke on the bag it came in. When it arrived I was so happy to open the package and see all the stuff it came with, and as soon as I opened the package I was disappointing. The sheet didn't fit the crib mattress that we bought. The blanket feet cheap and had a musky smell. The stitching was off everywhere on the blanket. The crib bumper didn't line us and I wasn't actually able to tie it to the crib no matter how many times I tried. The curtain was so ugly that I threw it away. I looked everywhere for camo bedding for my son and this was all that I could find. I wish I had looked some more and found something with a little higher quality. My dust ruffle was just plain old brown and very ugly. I refused to use it. The diaper holder was cute and the stitching was correct on this but that was about it. I wish it was a higher quality. This is now sitting in my sons closet. I refused to use it. I was never able to get the funky smell out of it even with hanging it in the sun and washing it. I'm not sure if I just got one that was a bad batch or just unlucky as it had pretty good reviews.

I bought this for my 4 month old grandson. My daughter loved the comforter. You get alot for your money and the quality is great. You do have to pay extra charges when its delivered cause it comes from the States $14 more (duty).

Amazing product!! I was very impressed for all the you get for the money and it fit our beach themed nursery perfectly!! We have boy/girl twins and it was very difficult to find gender neutral ocean themed nursery items - they're all mostly for boys. I was very happy when I received this product and get many compliments on it too, I highly recommend!

My parcel came in quick order so we were pleased with that. The set will not be used until our grandson arrives mid-January, so I can't say how well it washes up. The design and colours we love. My only complaint was the cost of shipping - 1/2 the price of the set!

Cheaply made, poor quality, don't buy this set. Even after washing, the sheets were still stiff and not soft enough to put in the crib. Didn't end up using anything from this set.
