For as cheap as this thing is it is a fantastic deal. You'll need to be comfortable doing some pretty significant cutting into your guitar if it isn't an exact fit replacement but it's pretty easy if you take your time and measure 3 times! Sounds really good, works well, no buzz/hum, all in all I'm really happy with it!

I must say I was a bit skeptical and when I saw a pick up for this price but wow was I blown away! I installed it this morning and it plays fantastic and the tuner works really good. Don’t hesitate, just pick it up, trust me you’ll love it, too.

This unit worked pretty well. I wanted to put the unit up on the shoulder but as you can see from the photos in order for it to match the curve of the guitar you have to mount the unit upside down. I don't know if this is an error in the design or if it's meant to be mounted somewhere else. It was rather frustrating to discover this after I made my cuts, but it works fine upside down.

Bought this to replace the faulty FIshman pre-amp in my Ibanez. Installation was reasonably simple although I had to file the openings in my guitar to fit both parts.My primary issue is that the battery holder keeps falling out. I've only had this for about two weeks and the first time I went to play at my church, I tried to plug in and realized the battery pack was missing. Thankfully, it was in my soft case. Emergency averted!But this week, I was away and practiced in my hotel room without an amp. When I returned home to practice with my amp, again, the battery pack was missing. Unfortunately, it's probably on the floor of the hotel room. So, today, I have to revert to the much-hated sound hole pickup.If the hotel doesn't have it, I'll have to replace the part. Even still, if they DO, the last time I asked a hotel to ship a left-behind item, they charged me $20 for shipping. Not likely to happen for this part.Hopefully, there is a simple adjustment that can be made to the battery pack 'clip' so it stays in place.

First off, let me say this unit is amazing for the price. I have installed a lot of different units, and this one really caught my eye because the mounting plate is curved to fit the guitar body. It does not fit the curve of a standard dreadnaught if you want to mount it up on the shoulder, you would have to slide it down so the bottom is at the waist so you can screw it down without worry of cracking the plastic. It fits perfectly on the hips, and actually that can be a good thing depending on your player. I put this in a 12 string Dread for a young lady, and on the hips, it puts the control package in the perfect spot for playing when seated.I am going to out one in my own Yamaha 12 low on the shoulder, because I really like the sound shape this can get out of the on board 5 band EQ, very nice. The unit features a standard Low/Hi Z output system with the battery compartment on it, so you do not have to get inside the guitar to change out the battery. Nice.Got to be very careful, as always, when cutting the opening for the output panel, very little room for the screws. (I always use super glue on the screws) Overall it is a fantastic value. The braided under saddle pickup supplied is fine for 6 strings, you will need a longer one if you are doing a 12, but as long as your saddle is cut correctly and perfectly flat on the bottom, you will get great tone.

Worked fine at first. Now tuner doesn't move at all on any setting. Plugging into Amp also nothing. Changed battery, no change. Light is pretty I guess

Great sound quality , not many other options around this price point. It is pretty hard to install. You will have to cut two holes in your guitar for the preamp and for the connection point. Additionally you will have to drill a hole in the bridge for the pickup.

All of the features are available on this Metronome and tuner. I highly recommend it for anyone looking for improvements in timing of your songs.
