I wasn't sure what to expect from these boots as I was buying a returned item for $9 off, and they looked narrow in the photo. I rolled the dice and am glad that I did. The boots are in brand-new condition, very well-constructed with quality leather, and fit perfectly in my usual size. They have a sleek, modern look with a top that sits at about 2" above my ankle bone. I will easily be able to wear socks with them. They will be stylish with everything, from dresses to jeans.

These pull-on boots take some breaking in, especially in the heel and in pulling them on and off. The body of the shoe is comfortable, however, right out of the box. It just takes me forever to get them on and off, even with the elastic panel in the middle of the boot. My heel gets a little sore after a couple of hours; however, I've only been wearing them for about a week, and the friction isn't too bad. Given that they are leather, I expect them to soften and give with wear. I am between a size 8.5 and 9, and I find the 9 fits me well, especially since I tend to wear thicker socks with boots.I was afraid that I would hate the way the elastic on the side looks, but I don't mind it. I found these after struggling for many days to find something that (a) looks simple and elegant, (b) has good quality leather, (c) is comfortable for daily commute to work, (d) has low-medium heel height. These met all my conditions.I was a little bit worried about the no-zipper situation, but I am having no difficulty putting them in and out. They were comfortable from the first wear and I did not need any breaking period with them. They did not give me blisters (and I do have a pretty sensitive feet that earn blisters with most of no-sneakers shoes).

I'm usually a 6.5 in boots/sneakers (6 wide in heels/sandals) but a 7 in Kenneth Cole. I purchased a 7, and these fit true to Kenneth Cole sizing.The boot is comfortable, but kind of hard inside.. You might want inserts to make these wearable all day, or go for a better made shoe at a slightly higher price point. I bought the silver and black for style though, not long-lasting comfort, and I honestly would not suggest paying more than $40 for these, which is already kind of a stretch honestly. They feel cheap, but look expensive.Beware: If you purchase these "on sale" or dramatically lower priced (around $37) than normal, you're almost guaranteed to be receiving somebody's return. Expect minor scuffs and missing packaging...

I wanted an ankle book that was stylish and supports my feet for a lot of walking. I am very fussy when it comes to shoes... If not comfortable - what is the point! So, I was super pleased when I tried these on. They are not "tight" around the toes and I do have one "rising hammer toe" on my left foot that can be a little problematic with some shoes. They look classy. I will wear with a thinner sock for ease of pull on-off. I would buy them in a different color.

A gorgeous boot and comfortable!

I already had a pair of these boots in the pewter colour, and I loved them so much that I bought another pair in black. The leather is very good quality, they are well-made, fit true to size, and are surprisingly comfortable. The heel is high enough that you feel like you're wearing a heel, but not so much that it's hard to walk a lot in them. If I could get my size in brown, I would probably buy a third pair.
