My 8 year old Boston Terrier suddenly started having bladder issues and after ruling out any underlying medical issues we had to come up with some type of long term solution. We used male doggy diapers for a while, but since Boston Terriers have almost no tail they kept sliding off his rear end so they were not 100% effective and it was time for a new plan. Puppy pads seemed like a great idea but my dog is older and maybe a little set in his ways at this point, he showed zero interest in them. So now we are onto plan C which is the Golden Moon Artificial Grass...I chose this artificial grass because it had a higher rating on Amazon, it has its own drainage system instead of just being a mat of grass sitting directly on the ground, and the individual pieces snap together so you can configure it how you want and the pieces are a little more secured together if your dog likes to kick up grass with their back feet after they finish with their business. As others have mentioned, the grass squares themselves were a little difficult to snap together. This is largely due to the fact that the molded/cut edges of the small parts that actually "snap" together are not cleanly cut and have little tiny edges of extra plastic that make it difficult to insert the small tabs into the hole on the piece you are trying to connect. This might seem like a small issue, but when you take into consideration for the rectangular configuration they have pictured with this set, each piece is connected by either 16 or 24 of these tabs/holes snapped together times 6 pieces, it can be a bit of a headache. We ended up having to flip them over grass side down and hammering everything together one tab at a time. Luckily once its set up you don't have to deal with that again. There are also defined lines in the grass in between the interlocking grass panels, despite how much you try to fluff the grass up and blend it together. In the manufacturers picture it looks a lot better than the actual assembled product. Ours also seems to shed a lot.I am giving 3 stars because Amazon shows that rating as "It's Okay" which is basically how I feel about this product. We currently have this set up in our garage while we work on training our dog to use it on his own via a doggy door, but after winter is over and I can buy cheap sod again in individual pieces I will probably switch over to that.

I bought the Truf to put on my deck for my puppy to use during the day when i'm at work. (she doesn't stay on the deck, have a doggy door she can go in and out of) It does the job. Only downfall is they are hard to clip together and where the squares attach is visable. the turf also sheds. Would recommend turf solution for the squares because even with a good weekly power wash rinse it smells.

The artificial grass tiles are just as I expected based on others reviews. We're getting a new puppy and want to train her to do her business in the narrow side yard of our home. The area is shaded most of the day so grass won't grow. But we have good drainage over there and this will be perfect. After assembly, I fluffed up the blades with a whisk broom and I am very pleased with the appearance and color uniformity. 01/25/19 UPDATE: For a variety of reasons, we relocated this from the side yard to the cement patio area as pictured and placed it right over one of the drains. I clean it with a light spray of Simple Green two or three times a week and then hose it down, then use a yard broom to "rake" the blades back up to standing. Our puppy is now fully housebroken and it worked GREAT. I noticed the very tips of some of the blades are losing their color and turning white, but not enough to bother me. For what we purchased it for, I am very satisfied with this product.

I purchased this grass in lieu of a mat for our backdoor. It’s easier to rinse and looks pretty. The blade color variation is amazing, it looks real. It’s not the easiest to put together but once you get the hang of it, it’s much simpler. If you snap the first and last on each square, the other snaps in the middle become much easier.

We used this product underneath a swingset (over outdoor pads) in our courtyard and it's held up surprisingly well with daily use by a household and neighborhood of boys. It does get rather hot in the direct sun but we do live in Puerto Rico and the kids don't seem to mind.

Couldn't be happier!!! I received this 2 days ago and easily put 3 boxes of it together on my balcony by myself. We have 2 small special needs children and live in a primarily second floor town home. So taking our very large 3 month old puppy downstairs for a walk every other hour during the day isn't feasible for us. Our balcony is made of wood and these tiles sit on top of them and drain well. After a ton of research on different options, this was by far the best solution for us. We have a dog that will grow to be around 75 lbs so the porch potty and other outdoor dog areas that are marketed don't seem large enough for him. With these tiles I was able to make it as large as I wanted and saved at least $100 compared to what I could have paid for something marketed for dogs. Our dog really likes it and is using it well. It has rained hard twice since we've had it and the drainage flow is perfect. I worried most about this since we are renters. But it is exactly what I needed to keep us from causing any damage.

Absolutely grateful for the quality and functionality of this product for our aging fur baby! Living in a high-rise condo makes the middle of the night bathroom runs less challenging. I truly believe that it has also decreased our dog's stress. We attached 12 tiles together to best fit a section of our balcony and aesthetically it fits! He now can just alert us that he has to go and in one minute he's happily out to do his business. Cleaning and sanitizing is simple and I couldn't be happier!

Great quality and easy to put together. I only wish it had end pieces. It's a pain cutting the the tabs off.
