If you want these to *really* stay in place then you're going to need some better stakes. I've used these flat metal stakes from Menard's and they work great because they'll easily slip behind the strip that holds these fence pieces together. That said, I get lots of compliments on how they look around my house, and I'm very happy with them because I bought separate stakes.

Very country I love these for my drought free yard
I love these to keep the rock in place on my drought free front yard with wood stepping stones and other wood decor. I included pics the first one is how they come with a very visible black strip so I modified them with speckled wood tone spray paint and you can see my results. It definitely blends in with the rocks and other wood

Excellent and beautiful fencing!
Exactly what I wanted, adds that little bit of flare I needed. Easy to put it, didn't need to use a mallet or dig a trench, I just pushed them in the ground... looks fantastic! Shipment came fast and no damage. I will be buying more to put in other places. The finish is rough which gives it a great look.

Excellent choice
When I bought these I wasn't sure if the quality matched the price. They are so much nicer than I expected. I have actually bought several more boxes. Some reviews talked about the need for more stakes. I didn't have that problem because I put mulch behind it so it gave all the pieces more stability. 2 suggestions: install them when you know you're going to have several dry days. It poured the day after I put them in and they needed to be realigned; they come with a slight curve which works well if you are using them for a circular area. My second area was straight with 90 degree angles. I laid them out and threw several closed bags of mulch on top of them. It did exactly what I wanted, it took the curve out and made them ideal for a straight line. Great product! So much nicer than the plastic or metal ones. Worth the price. PS...the cicadas love it.

Great product!! High quality, slight design tweak needed!
Basically I love these! They are beautiful to look at and are well made. I would call them sturdy, but I wish they had one extra spike in the middle of each section. The middle part of each section is a little less secure than the ends. I will say though, if you have decent soil, they are super easy to install. I will definitely buy more even with out the extra middle support. You can see in my picture though how the middle of some look like they are falling in a little. If each section had a middle spike you wouldn’t have that problem. Hubby says it’s an easy DIY project, but I doubt it ever gets done! I’m still happy even if it doesn’t get any better than this.

Inconsistent
Incredibly disappointed in the quality/color of each shipment. I have ordered multiple boxes for landscaping around my yard and it's difficult to create a nice cohesive look when the logs are different colors. Not sure what the manufacturing process is but it sucks not having confidence in what I'm going to receive and unfortunately I have to order more since I already have so many down and it's too late to change them all now to something different. I have gotten creative and lightly sprayed painted the lighter ones to get a closer match to the darker ones.

Seems flimsy and the heavy black backing with gold staples shows
First, it feels poorly made: 1. The stakes keep coming out of the bottom of the wood units and have to be reinserted, and 2. the units seem flimsy and slapped together. In addition, the backing holding each unit together---a 3-inch-high, thick black plastic band attached to each wood piece with 2 contrasting giant gold-colored staples---covers most of the back of each unit and stands out clearly from the brown of the wood. The black plastic and heavy staples show up from even a long distance away, unless you pile something up against it (a wall, thick bedding plants, a layer of bender board). It doesn't work well for circling trees, for instance.

Perfect Options .... Saved Thousands
Wanted something to keep the mulch in the flower garden. A contractor wanted $8k to build a stone wall ... spent $200 and some sweat equity instead and got exactly what I wanted. The color (red cear) is nice but didn't match my decor. So, I spray painted the sections black and placed them (36 sections/18 inch pieces) in about an hour. They were simple to install ... I encountered some stone under the dirt but solved the problem with a mallet. There are no gaps as the sections butt right up against each other. They also seem to be very sturdy .... no damage caused by a mallet and they are standing straight and tall. Most of all ... the mulch is where it most needed .... in the flower garden!
