It worked just fine for me on my first use.
I'm not the best reviewer, in that I'd never added serving to a bowstring before, but it worked just fine for me. I had no difficulty setting it up, and it was a snap to use. I am, however, glad I spent some time on line learning before I started. Reverse serving isn't common sense, but easy to do once you understand the concept.

Loving this Server!
I absolute love this server... At first I thought due to its plastic nature that it would be inferior to the other serving tools I had, n fact I purchased this as a backup.After a few uses I found that I preferred this server over my others and have been using it since.Highly Recommend!
