I received the SKIL Rechargeable 4V Cordless Pistol Grip Screwdriver with 42pcs Bit Set, USB Charger, and Carrying Case a couple of weeks ago and it has already proven to be an excellent tool. I used it extensively while assembling my new office desk, and it performed really well. The screwdriver has surprisingly good power for its compact size — it drove screws into hardwood and particle board quickly and smoothly without struggling. The pistol grip design is comfortable to hold, even during longer assembly sessions. What I loved most: The 42-piece bit set includes almost every size and type I needed, so I didn’t have to search for the right bit. USB rechargeable battery with decent runtime — easily lasted through the entire desk assembly on a single charge. The carrying case keeps everything organized and easy to store. Lightweight and ergonomic, which reduced hand fatigue during use. This little tool made putting together my office desk much faster and easier than using a regular manual screwdriver. I purchased this for a Christmas present for my fiance and I was hesitant because of its unique size and kind of unusual power level I don't mean that in a derogative way I mean compared to construction grade battery operated cordless drills and impact drivers the lower voltage is a lot less popular I didn't even know they made them this low but the power is there The torque is there The speed is there And out of all the gifts I got her she opened it up right away and put it on the charge and started using it I don't have a bad thing to say about it It's perfect for her she's petite she has smaller hands and fingers and hasn't done construction or home improvement our whole life like I have so she's a bit awkward and unskilled doesn't hope things correctly doesn't quite know how to line things up but This pistol grip screwdriver was designed with those things in mind there's attachments and things like that that help hold screws in place and line things up in the LED lighting actually focuses on the area that she needs it too she's been using it for a couple months and hasn't put it back on the charger yet so obviously the battery is outstanding. She used my DeWalt 20 volt cordless screwdriver quite a bit and almost any time she used it I would always hear her say "ouch" or "dang it" And then here's things drop on the floor or bounce off a chair because the learning curve for using those things is pretty steep and it's intimidating to a novice like her those screwdrivers have a lot of power and they're heavy with the bigger batteries but I haven't heard her drop anything or out or dang it I just hear happy sounds like giggling or "yes! Perfect" last thing I heard her say was "I did it I love this thing!" So she loves it and she's proud of her Skil screwdriver kit. I haven't bought skill in a long time and I'm happy to say that as her abilities increase and her interest follow I'll be looking into the other products they have available for DIY and home improvement. I recommend this product to anyone looking for a good quality cordless screwdriver for a young girl or boy or a woman that may shy away from the 20 volt screwdrivers and impacts you find at Home Depot for too much money and come separately from the battery which is always more than the unit itself 😁 Some features are the adjustable clutch and speed control The LED lighting is excellent It's very durable It has a thoughtful bit kit that comes along with it it's got a good quality case it comes in with a plexiglass lid so you don't have to open the case to see what's in it like every case that came with any tool in the history of mankind. The charge time was surprisingly fast and the battery charge lasts a very long time she is yet to recharge it and it's been months another thing that she commented about is how quiet it is and it doesn't hurt her wrist when she pulls the trigger, It starts smoother than that helps or not lose the screw or whatever she's trying to tighten and it's less intimidating taking the fear of using ii out of her thoughts. Oh I almost forgot the bits don't fall out of the adapter or the extension because they're magnetic so they stay right there on the drill and she sets the screws on the first attempt every time. I'm writing this review from a third person perspective because I've yet to be allowed to even so much as pick it up yet alone use it lol. She's protective of her cordless Skil screwdriver she doesn't leave it laying around and I'm not sure where she stores it when she's not using it hahaha. That's the mentality of a person that's been raised with brothers or sisters right there, but it tickles my heart that she's so proud of her gift and anything that gives her that much joy has got my appreciation and it's nice to be giving Skil my hard earned money again, it has been a long time since I've purchased anything they've made but they have a niche product and it's darn good quality and technology and very thoughtfully engineered so they've done some homework and scored an A+ on the test as far as my little lady is concerned, so hey SKIL, thank you very much! I look forward to doing business with you guys again and keep up the great work I hope this review will persuade others to give you guys a try I know they won't be disappointed when they do!

I bought the SKIL Rechargeable 4V Cordless Pistol Grip Screwdriver with 42pcs Bit Set for small home repairs and furniture assembly. Overall, it’s convenient and works well for light tasks, though it’s not very powerful. It is a comfortable pistol grip for easy handling and comes with 42 bits, covering most small screws. However, the 4V motor isn’t strong enough for tougher screws or hard materials, and battery life is limited for continuous use.

Father’s Day present! He used one with a friend while on vacation. He really the liked durability of such a small screwdriver. Having the laser light and the magnetic attachment for the screws was the deal breaker. He took off a door to work on it using the mini screwdriver. It had great power and it fit into the small places with ease. The fact the power charger was only an included USB charger was an added benefit…..no extra battery charger needed. Since it was a small space having a tight squeeze, the provided light really helped. An added bonus was the fact the little guy held the charge with ease. Using the same tool to screw back the door made the whole job easier.. There’s so many different ways to use this tool but just remember, it’s not a replacement for a construction larger screwdriver when needing extra support. This is for small repairs and hard to work on tight spaces. Definitely a good little tool and worth every cent!

This tool is small, light weight, and fits the hand well. You get quite a bit of work on a single charge. It also has impressive torque for such a compact device. Based on first impressions during a couple of hours of various uses, and considering the $23 price, I like it.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. I LOVE this screwdriver. It has a lot of power and keeps a good charge. It is an excellent house warming gift.

Great product for the price. Originally purchased to assemble a file cabinet. Dozens of small sheet metal screws. Worked great. Lately I have been using this product to work on a wooden fence and gate. Has enough torque to drive #8 and #10 four inch screws into 6" x 6" posts. I appreciate the pistol grip when doing this...I would not try this with a "flashlight" style grip. Good battery life. I recommend this product.

This tool came in in good time. I recently moved and this tool has been put to the test. I used it so much that I'm on my 3rd charge. The tool is powerful enough to sink screws in wall beams. The battery last two days of steady use. I'm not a contract but as a honest owner I use it a lot. It's compact fits perfect in my hands, it come with a sturdy case, and a good assortments of bits.
