It took me 3 months to find the time and energy to install the lights. They worked well for a week. The power supply, though "weatherproof" was placed in the basement for convenience. I 'cussed' the bargain lights and started to take them down. A neighbor suggested I test the voltage before removing them. SURPRIZE, it was the POWER SUPPLY! I have since purchased another power unit and all is well. I would NOT recommend this item and copious recent reviews outside of AMAZON agree. These Nubee® 30 Watt Waterproof LED Power Supply Driver Transformer 120 to 12 Volt Dc Output should be recalled and refunded.

I purchased this to run some outside led lights. So far I have just installed three 4 watt LED recessed lights in the soffit. When I hooked the lights up directly, they were brighter than I wanted, so I bought a PWM Dimmer. This setup works wonderfully.I also planned to cut the plug off this transformer, and wire it directly in a junction box. The colors are not US standard, so after testing my unit - Blue is Hot, Red is neutral, and green is ground. Hopefully that will help the next person who runs into the same problem.Time will tell, as far as longevity goes, but i'm hopefully this will be a reliable setup for outside lights.

I purchased an entire setup to run LED lights around my 16x20 deck and have had them up for a year and a half now. Both of my transformers have been out in the elements and have not skipped a beat. I would purchase 10 of these if needed. I connected 1, 5-meter white LED strip to this power supply and within 20 minutes I touched it and it was quite hot.Update review - Within minutes after this review, the seller contacted me and informed me that I ordered the outdoor power supply which runs hotter than an indoor power supply. Furthermore, the seller offered to ship me the indoor power supply at NO COST to me. Customer Service does not get much better than this. I am sure the indoor power supply will work as expected and I will definitely purchase from this seller (Nubeestore) again. Fantastic Customer Service.

I had gotten sick and couldn't tend to my plants. Everything was packed away until I got better. I have been slowly adding to my indoor garden and I finally had the energy and motivation to put up the lights attached to it. One week, it stopped working in the middle of the 16 hours I kept them on for. Very disappointed.

Not sure why there are 2 output leads?! Assumed they are connected in parallel on the box interior. VERY COOL operation. Stable output, no flicker, no variable voltage. Only needed 35 Watts but I have future expansion if I need it. Used with a double row, dense, 5050 SMD LED light strip (600 LED total) for under counter lighting. Works great with a low voltage 'down stream' dimmer.

I can personally vouch for the quality of this item. I have been using one of these now, for a few months on a display cabinet. I have three strips of warm white LED lighting strips, each cut to about one meter long (total of 3 meters) being powered by one of these, with a wireless LED dimmer. The unit never gets hot to the touch, only gets warm at full load, andf nd is all around, a GREAT product. I like that it is sealed and grounded as well!

i ordered 21 of these. 1 was DOA. 2 of the first 8 i installed burned out within 2-3 weeks. i was able to return those 3.but then more kept burning out and now a total of 9 have not lasted more than a month or so. i have a few more left but am afraid to use them.it's such a hassle to swap out new ones. i guess i got a bad batch?
