Fits as expected, I wear L to XL, and I got the XL. It's a little tight on the shoulders, but the fit is fine. I'd buy again! The shirt is thicker than I thought and seems to be a higher thread count material.

Okay so I dont usually write reviews but I needed to about this shirt.I bout this for my husband for the Renaissance Festival. He is 5'7" and usually wears a 1xl-2xl,depending on the cut.Ordered a 2xl,decided that it would be best if he got a size up,just in case so he could have some room to move freely.Well let me tell you, its true to size,and the fabric is quite thick.Great quality for the price.When he tried it on it fit REALLY NICE,and he had some room to move too.Came with 2 sizes in leather straps for the chest ties.Quick Shipping Too.wich was greatly convenient. He will be wearing this shirt with a Utility Kilt.We haven't gone to the Renn Fest yet,but I will update with pictures when we do.

The shirt fit well. I purchased a medium and I am 5'8, 165 lbs. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that it did NOT come with the leather tie as is shown in the product photo. I was unable to use the shirt because it came one day before a festival I was going to and I didn't have time to go out and purchase a separate leather tie.UPDATE: The company refunded me $5 credit for the missing leather tie. Bumped it up to 4 stars. Quality shirt.

Scottish-heritage hubby needed to look the part for a local art & music festival with guests & performers from Scotland present.We took a chance & (based on other reviews) ordered this from Amazon. #WINWe were impressed with the quality & look of this shirt. If it got passing marks from them, we figured it was authentic & Scottishly correct! 😃 We recommend. I bought this two sizes larger than my tshirt size to accommodate a inner t-shirt (cold weather) and be a little extra baggy and give room for some shrinkage. It worked out just right. I am a big guy (6' 230) and I had no problem getting into or out-of this shirt. The cuffs on my shirt fit my wrists fine (9" at the wrist) and it has two buttons to go even bigger.This shirt (in black) is made from heavy cotton cloth like old-school wrangler brush poppers. So it is very tough. The eyelets on the collar are tight and solid metal. The included leather thong worked fine.These look great with kilts or jeans and have an authentic cultural feel that much modern clothing has lost.I'm planning to buy more of these.

While the item looks ok, it is 100% polyester- not a blend. Impossible to maintain. Impossible to iron and have it look nice. The fit was perfect

The style and material quality is very good. I usually have to buy tall shirts but this style is nice and tall. It runs a little skinny and the shoulders are also a bit narrow. If you are in the upper range of a size I'd suggest going up one just in case. Mine fits me excellent, if a little snug in shoulders. Great shirt!!!.... as long as it doesn't shrink at all :)

Arrived on time with no issues. This is a good quality shirt. Material is a heavy fabric as it should be. The shoulders fit quite nice. The only thing to be aware of is the fit of the rest of the shirt. These are authentic Ghillie shirts so they are made for folks with a little weight on them. If your a thin guy with broad shoulders, expect a good fit up top and for it to be a little baggy feeling below. Keep in mind they are designed this way. As they are meant to be left over or tucked into a KILT and not jeans. I love the shirts and my son does as well. He will be wearing it with his Kilt to my wedding.I do recommend washing in cold water and drying a couple times just to take the stiffness out a bit.

They say 70% cotton and 30% rayon... even if you reverse those ratios and say 70% rayon I'm pretty sure you wouldn't find enough cotton to make up the other 30%. Pulling this shirt out of the plastic shipping bag was actually difficult due to the large amount of static build up from the rayon being run across the plastic.The sizing is completely out to lunch. I ordered a XXL and the arms barely reach halfway down my forearms while the body is tent like in proportion.This would be worth while buying at sub $10 for a Halloween costume, but to wear it for anything else would likely result in a lighting strike due to charge build up.
