Great for braid

A very handy and easy to use tool. The sharp points springs back and tucks inside the handle for safe keeping when not in use. I keep it conveniently in my pocket for cutting mono or fluorocarbon line. Not so much for braid.

This is a must-have for the serious angler. The blades are retracted and only come out from the device when squeezing the triggers, so you don't get jabbed while it's in your pocket or hanging from its built-in lanyard clip. It's small, the blades are extremely sharp and slices through tough braid with ease, It has an ergonomic grip for wet, slippery hands from handling your catches. The only reason I gave it a 4 rating for ease of use, is that the springs are exceedingly difficult to squeeze the blades together to make a cut. I'm an old guy and while fairly fit, the pressure it takes to squeeze the triggers to make your cut, is excessive. Arthritic hands may find this device somewhat difficult to use.

Perfect line cutters clip right onto Jean pants and can cut through anything when I first got them I was skeptical that their hidden design would lead to corrosion but over time I used them more and more they could cut just about anything I think the thickest line I cut was 60 pound braid

Did not work well for heavier lines like for saltwater bottom fishing. Would not cut the knots. Ok for the single line but definitely not the rigging knots. The design is nice for your pocket etc. If only doing inshore saltwater would work fine.

Ergonomically outstanding. I bought it to cut braided fishing line, which is hard to cut with nail clippers or plain scissors. I do wish they made these out of titanium or even aluminum. It has a carabiner built in, so you can keep it in one of your belt loops. It took almost a month from ordering this item to actually having it in my hands. Might want to just go to a physical store and buy it. This is a must-have item if you are a fisherman.

Works well on all types of fishing line and small enough to keep out of the way on your belt ! 😊

These scissors are the best that I have ever purchased. Mono line is always easy to cut, braided always requires tension to make a clean cut, except with these. Braided line cuts clean, without fraying and no tension required. I ended up purchasing a second set. Well worth it.
