A very simple book but very valuable
First this book is very thin maybe 30 pages but at the same time very large 20ish inches tall 15ish inches wide so it's awkward on the bookshelf. But the content of the pages is very valuable. It shows the keys of Animation and as the title implies it is step by step.I do feel like the content is a little light on the how to of the steps but is great at showing those steps. It is as though the book depends that the user have a base of knowledge to build upon.

Little more advanced than I expected but still love it.
I often feel like they skipped some valuable steps, but it has so many good excercises in it to practice that I don't mind. I would not start with this book if you are just learning to draw. I would likely go with a drawing basics book and then practice character drawing prior to getting this book. If you dont know much about character drawing then you will struggle with this book a bit. However, it goes into how they drew some of the classic cartoons that we all know and love. I don't regret this purchase whatsoever. Its going to help me in many ways.

Classic Animation book
I had a different version of this book as a kid who was/is very interested in animation. Has a great break down of the classic, old-fashioned style hand drawn cartoons.

Nice drawing lessons
This book was much bigger than I expected it to be, so it probably wouldn't fit too well on a standard bookshelf

I am glad I purchased this book
I did not pay attention to what size the book actually was. It is what I expected, and what I wanted in regards to drawing and drawing practice. I would also get this as a hardcover book for durability (if that is available). I am happy I purchased it and excited for completing all the drawing exercises and putting them into practice! I would recommend this book.

Great for your focused artist.
My son asked for this book not knowing for sure what all was in it. He was very happy to see it was a book teaching step by step cartooning. Maybe some other things too. He definitely loves it. My husband says it teaches him how to draw real pictures too. I'm not sure what he means, but it sounds good.

Big book, not a lot of pages
The odd larger than normal book is hard to store BUT also it’s cool because it contains a lot of good info so If you need it it’s easy to spot. The details in the walk cycles and the dialogue mouths was the reason why I bought this book
