So informative!
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book. I learned SO much about the workings of my own body! It's extremely informative and thorough in explanations and suggested treatments. My only regret is I didn't read it before giving in to going on birth control last year to help with major changes in my period. But in reading it, I'm very thankful I stopped my birth control and I look forward to supporting my body in getting back to normal thanks to this book.

Exceptionally helpful info, very well written
This is one of the best books in the health and wellness space. All women, no matter healthy or sick, should read it and get some basic knowledge about female physiology and women health. Besides the basics explained in simple plain language, the book provides essential info about the most common problem and conditions of women's health and practical steps to prevent them, as well as to manage and even reverse some of them. Excellent resource and a go-to book for all women of any age.

Master your cycle and understand your period.
My cousin recommended me this book, 10/10 this has helped me understand my cycle more. Makes noticing signs of unusual symptoms easy, helps with getting into balance with your hormones after being on contraceptives. Make it easy on yourself and read this. Your body is not made for a 28 day cycle (unless that is your natural rhythm). Women's bodies are so unique and decoding the reproductive aspects of it will help so much. Thats what this book does. Makes it easy to understand, the what, when, and how's.

This book is very informative and easy to understand
Purchased this book due to period struggles. This book was amazing. It was very informative, easy to understand. This had very detailed instructions on what steps to take, along with supplement recommendations. I actually got blood work done because of this book and was able to find out what was going on. I recommend this book to every woman!

Great info for all WOMEN
This is a great little reference book. I wish I had this in my teens. It has helped me with a few different issues. I wish more medical professionals read this before treating women. There is so much more that can be done than throwing pills at women. This book is encouraging because there are things we can do to help ourselves! I gave 4 stars because the book does endorse Daysy and natural cycles, both are a bit iffy as they claim to predict ovulation. I believe getting a Fertility Awareness Method instructor and learning to interpret your own chart is the best, most effective way to prevent or attain pregnancy. (Shameless plug for SymptoPro and Read your body app!) Overall a solid reference book.

Exceptional resource for periods; useful for pregnancy too
This book offers an abundance of information in a format that is easily searchable and simple to understand. It's empowering to be able to track your own cycle and understand how to fix common problems that most of us ladies experience. If you're trying to get pregnant, this book is all the more useful for establishing a healthy period cycle so that you can increase your chance of getting pregnant right away!

Got my period back!
I've been having issues with my period for the past year. In fact, for the last 9 months, I've not had a period on my own, and my doctor has been having me take Progesterone tablets every three months to induce a period. She, as well as a second gyno I went to see, have had no explanation for me as to why this is happening and have wanted to put me on birth control. This bothers me to no end. First of all, I don't want to be on birth control, but I guess that is kind of besides the point. The main point is that my body is not doing what it is naturally meant to be doing, and it bothers me that none of the doctors I sought out have tried to find the root of the problem. So, after 9 months of taking the progesterone pills every 3 months, (so 3 medically induced periods for 9 months) I decided I had had enough. I came across this book and read a lot of good reviews and decided to give it a whirl. This book is very clear and easy to understand. She gives you a lot of options where supplements and new lifestyle choices are concerned. She also made it very clear that it would take three months to get my period back, because that is how long it takes for the follicle to mature. One of the supplements she talks about is Inositol and another is Vitex. I bought both, but decided to start off my first three months with a half dosage of the combination Inositol (the regular dosage is 4:1 and I took 2:0.5) and then if I still didn't get a period, I would try the vitex since that is apparently some really powerful stuff, but I wanted to try a more low key supplement first. I also want to mention that I was, at the time, taking 50 mg of Spironolactone a day, which this books states can make you miss periods. I decided I also wanted to wean myself off of that. I took the Inositol everyday for three months at half the dosage. As for my Spironolactone, I took it everyday like usual for a month, then switched to taking 50 mg every other day, and spreading it farther and farther apart until I stopped taking it altogether. I was pretty sure that, based around the time I started doing all of this, I "should" get my period sometime around May 7th, and had even marked that on my calendar. This morning, May 4th, I got my period naturally for the first time in almost a year. I haven't seen any negative side effects from the Inositol or stopping the Spironolactone, which I expected to make me break out, but I've been off of it for a month now and havent noticed anything. I am thoroughly impressed with this book and the approach behind it. She really focuses on fixing the root issue instead of sweeping it under the rug and going straight to birth control like the two doctors I went to. From this point forward, I think I will continue to take the Inositol for a few months, and then maybe down the line see if my body has been off the spironolactone long enough to have a period without Inositol, but I guess I'll just have to wait and see. If you've been struggling with period issues and don't know where to turn, this book is the answer. I would highly recommend this to all women.

SO much information it's unbelievable. Get it!
Such a thorough book I recommend it for all women in my life and anyone who sees this. It covered so much that I actually found something wrong with me I didn't realize existed. Covers endometriosis, PCOS, thyroid, yeast infections, UTIs, and more! It even covers all the supplements you need to help your body heal as well as diet plans for each problem.I have found so many things I don't even think my doctor knows about! I've cried over how helpful this book is for me. I'm still healing my issues but I have made extreme progress ever since reading this. I'd get it even if you don't feel like you have an issue right now, because just having this knowledge is extremely beneficial.
