Very dainty and beautiful - just wish they included the USB adaptor
These lights are beautiful and just what I needed to get the look I was going for in my daughter's room.Pros: Each string of lights is nicely spaced apart, so you don't have a bunch of strings hanging next to each other. The string and lights themselves are tiny - so very tiny, but perfect for that fairy light look. I love the remote control function, as well as the ability to dim them. We hung them on a wall behind a sheer curtain and the look turned out amazing.Cons: They are very easy to tangle, so don't unravel them until you're ready to hang them. And probably my biggest issue with these lights is that they only came with a USB for power. I guess we're probably moving more towards that with a lot of things, however for now it is a little bit of an inconvenience. We ended up stealing and adapter from a Kindle charger until we could buy a separate USB adapter just for these lights. If you're looking for some really dainty curtain fairy lights and don't mind the USB power cord, then I think you'll be happy with these. However if you want to use them outside, you may want to think twice because I'm not sure how well a USB adaptor is going to hold up to weather??

Beauty is in the eye of the boholder... and depends on what side of the window you're on...
These were pretty simple to set up.A few have complained about plugging into a USB, but in all honesty - haven't we all had enough phones to now have several spare usb chargers (we have no fewer than 10 in our house). The setup is SUPER simple. Hanging the lights is easy with the hooks that are provided. But here's the thing - if you're looking at this page - you see the pictures of the lights the manufacturer has posted . They're downright whimsical, right? But in person - like when you stare at the cold lifeless strings hanging in front of your darkened window, aching for the attention of a dark night and ogling neighbors... in person... they look like of cheap. But it all depends on what side of the window you're on. From the inside, looking out - right through where the lights hang - they look cheap (yes. right. established, Gene). But from the outside, they're kind of cute.I'm mostly impressed by the sheer variety of what these lights are able to do considering their size. The remote is a nice touch, and keeps it to where you don't need to keep bending down to adjust the lights (though, that's a possibility too).As a total package - LED, light weight, simple USB plug-in, remote - these are a solid 4 stars. They'll stay up through the season for us. Minus 1 star for cheap aesthetics - but hey, 4 is nice!

USB Power Deal Breaker
While these make an impressive display the USB plug requirement is a deal breaker for me. I wanted to use these outside. Jerryrigging a usb plug for outside use was awkward and I was concerned about mositure. Indoors the USB plugs my older house has are not convenient to where I wanted to hang these. Again jerry rigging is inconvenient and inattractive. The lights do get tangled so be sure to posotion befoire releasing the dangling strands. Be prepared to tie them up again for storage or moving. The lights them selves are lovely. The remote control is simple to use. There are eight different modes that lead to versatility and essentially a stunning display. The instructions are adequate. Unfortunately theneed to power via USB just isn't convenient for me. These are a fine option if you have plugs located where you wish to hang these lights. I don't so this is a pass for me.

Looks cute, works great - tougher than I anticipated to make a USB plug work
Got these to add to our Christmas decorating routine so we'd have a whimsical snow-like effect behind our Christmas tree, but once we got everything laid out, we decided we wanted to use these outside instead - which is fine because all the instructions indicate that this is fine for indoor or outdoor use. Either way we were putting this under an awning that would be protected from rain and other elements, but getting a USB plug that would work outside was more of a challenge than originally anticipated, so it sort of does limit it's usefulness in our situation. We'll probably move it back indoors (as we're using a phone charger plug at the moment and we're a bit worried that moisture in the air will cause that to damage) where there is more access to safe outlets where we can use a phone charger plug to plug the usb into. We don't have any other Christmas decor (or decor otherwise) that is USB powered for this to connect to and since it doesn't come with an outlet adapter, it's probably the most limiting feature of this. Not a dealbreaker, but just requires a bit more planning. It does look as pictured - a nice warm light with a few different modes that twinkle or sparkle, or just stay on, etc. Install is easy (IF YOU FOLLOW DIRECTIONS - hang the main string first then once that is all in place, untie the icicles - don't untie everything and drag it around, it will get tangled - when we move it from place to place, we tie up the dangling string parts with rubber bands so they don't get all messed up.) The remote has features that are useful (timer/dim settings), but if you lose the remote, you can still get good use out of the lights because of the button on the USB that switches through the available modes.
