strong cable but a little fat
Pic is where I CUT the unneeded cable end (not snapped). It has a woven black inner core with a woven red cover. Both were somewhat hard to cut.Pros: Strong - used to pull a stump from a fallen 12" dia. tree (along with digging and chopping). Included 2 ton shackle is perfect match and SAFE! Black sleeve and alum loop guard helps to prevent wear.Cons: Red outer sleeve is fat, could not even get all of cable into winch spool, also lose some power as it spools. Cable loop guard and spool attachment are aluminum, but do work with the good shackle.

Weakest rope, broke several times
Pulling a small branch caused it to break. My cheap nylon rope ended up pulling it with no problem.

Quality synthetic winch line
Strong rope, will never go back to a steel cable after this. Well made rope.

Held up so far.
The media could not be loaded. Works great so far. I was skeptical that it would hold up. It looks so skinny. We used it in Jellico TN on Black mountain this weekend. Winched my 2008 JKU through an undercut that I couldn't climb without it. (I don't have a front locker)

Thicker than most with extra covering.
The end to start was thick but got it to go threw. But after that rolled right in and is nice and heavyduty, only used it once so far and not much stretch. Would recommend.

Worked great to replace steel cable on Badlands ZXR 5000 winch
I installed a Badlands ZXR 5000 winch on my Polaris RZR. I used this to switch from the original steel cable that came on the Badlands winch. Works great.

Nice upgrade from steel cable.
I like that it has a full length cover plus the sliding sheath. I appreciate the included shackle and bonus pull strap, which wasn’t in the ad. I also purchased your red fairlead but I got it from another site. I installed this on a can am commander factory warn xl 4000 winch. If I get a chance I’ll update once I use it some.

this rope comes apart easy
I have ordered 2 of these wench lines and both of them have came apart. I know what your Thinking why did you order it again. Well I figured the first one was just a bad parts so I tried it again and had the same results. outer cover frays real easy and I use tree savers and blocks to prevent damage and it still does not hold up. The first one actually broke the line, the second one has not broke yet but the red cover is coming off of it and makes it hard to retract back in to the wench.

Ive had a really good experience with this Rope
Others say bad things about this rope. It holds up extremely well. Yes I had to cut the end to fit on my warn winch, but no big deal, melt the end of the rope with a lighter and fix it to the winch. The protective sheath is why I wanted to try this rope, and to be honest it almost doesn't fit on the winch drum due to its thickness, but it has excellent wear resistance and superior strength even when covered in mud or sliding across sharp rocks. I've used this rope for 2 years and it shows but it is holding up like no other rope. I would totally recommend this to anyone. My ATV is a 500cc suzuki and has been hanging on the edge of rock cliffs and pulled through 3 feet of snow while maxing out my 4000lb warn winch. Easily washes up when covered in mud and doesn't slice your fingers open like the steel cable does.

Couple minor problems.
Good solid looking rope. Generally happy. However, rope a little too thick for my winch. Wouldn't all fit on winch. Sleeve seemed like a good idea but has to go through pulley for my plow and is a bit of a problem with fit. Also, sleeve bunches up when I pull on line to snug it up on spool.

Good quality. Good price.
So far so good. I had to cut the dead end eyelet off for my winch application but good quality. I ordered the quarter-inch line and found out that my winch and drum only accepted 3/16 so I had to peel the outer protective sheathing off for a bit in order to feed it onto the drum. It did not affect the usability of the line for my winch and so far am quite happy with it. My winch is only rated at 3,500 so I had to cut about 10 feet off of the line as well so that I could get it to wrap onto the drum without binding. My own fault I should have only ordered the 3/16 stuff but I wanted the extra rated capacity of the quarter inch line.
