This cable is exactly what I've been needing all this time! I have this underwater camera that I love and have used many times over the years, but it uses a USB to connect to a laptop for uploading. So I always have to wait till I get home to edit or share my photos/video. It's such a pain, especially on vacations where I don't bring my laptop, to have to wait every time! But this nifty little cable now makes it super easy to hook my camera right up to my smartphone! I can access all the files on the camera with one touch, and it didn't require any separate app or learning curve. I literally just plugged my camera into one end of the cable and then plugged the other end into my phone, and the USB folder popped right up in my notifications window! Then I just choose the photos I want to save to my Google photo drive, or, on my phone at least, you can share directly to any social media or messaging app. Sooooo much easier than waiting to get to a computer. The cable is quite short, which makes it very convenient and portable so I'm not carrying around a large, tangled up cord. It's easy to have on me all the time in my purse or beach bag. I wish I'd had this ages ago, as it would have saved so much time and hassle, especially when other people are waiting to see the photos you took of them. I highly recommend this easy-to-use cable if you are needing a solution to this sort of problem. So little money for such big convenience issues solved! I see myself using this all the time now, most importantly while traveling with my previously frustrating camera!

I wanted to downloaded books from the BARD website onto my Fire Kindle, unzip them and put onto a flash drive. I didn't even know if this was possible, no idea what the "adapter" would be called. All I knew was that I needed a micro usb on one side and a male usb on the other side, also OTG (in case you don't know what this means, which I didn't, it's On The Go) I love it!! Took me a little playing until I figured out exactly how to put it on the flash drive, but figured it out. Did have to download File Commander (free in app store). The rest was trial and error. The only reason I'm writing all of this is because I couldn't find anything out there to tell what I needed or how to do it. Every article led me to another with a new app I needed to download. Horribly confusing. Finally, found out on the Amazon forum thingy that Fire Kindles are OTG. Once I knew that, I took the chance on this adapter. Very glad I did. Now, the item itself is of excellent quality. Came in a small, thick, zip lock bag that I use for storage. Short cord, feels like a thick rubber covering. Plastic for the adapters themselves, but they don't feel cheap. I had it plugged into my Kindle with a flash drive connected to it and as I mentioned it took me some time to figure it out, flapping there at the top, being put down and picked up. No cracking, no damage at all. Very well made. I hope someone else trying to find some information about Fire Kindles, OTG, and transferring information finds this review. Hopefully it will save someone some time!! I hope this helps.

Decent quality, reasonable (-ish) price point and it plugs and plays just like it's supposed to. Haven't had any issues with one or another USB device not working. That is, everything that I've tried so far has worked including a USB adapter to a SNES controller. The only USB device that I can think of which wouldn't work, would be one requiring specific drivers for which Android and other mobile operating systems are lacking. This is generally due to the lack of development of such mobile drivers by the peripheral manufacturer question and have little, if nothing to do with a hole expected to be filled by Android and/or other mobile operating systems- and for that matter, this USB OTG Cable device in general has little do to with that kind of issue. The only reason I mention this is because I imagine some people are wondering why certain USB devices do not work. Again, this would most likely be because the device you are trying to use requires proprietary drivers which the manufacturer probably never created for Android. If they do exist, you best install them via the manufacturer website or something.

This dongle is the best. Now let me start off by saying I'm a fan of the Playstation wireless headphones. I currently have original wireless and the platinum's. The first pair had a really robust construction and (somehow) bass powerful enough to vibrate the tips of your ears. The problem with that, is that they're wireless only, a 3.5 jack simply does not exist on it. Well, as of today, I can confirm that the dongle works fantastically with both of my Playstation headphones with an overall better sound quality than the average bluetooth headset. You can even use the inbuilt volume controls and take phone calls, though mic quality may vary. Edit Doesn't seem to work with android 4.4.2 and under. Plugged it in my tablet to no effect. Works fine on my phone which is on android 6.0.1

Best five bucks I ever spent! This cable allowed me to copy all the important stuff from my iPhone 4 (contact list, pictures, bookmarks, etc.) to my new Samsung Galaxy J7, with minimal effort on my part. One end of the OTG cable plugs into the Galaxy's micro-USB charging port, and the USB end of your iPhone's charger cable plugs into the other end of the OTG cable. That's it. Then you start Samsung's "Smart Switch Mobile" app on the Galaxy, and it takes over and copies (by whatever means) the data categories that you select in the Smart Switch app, from the iPhone to the Galaxy. Nothing could be simpler. If it encounters an app on the iPhone that has no counterpart in Android, it will suggest one that's similar from the Galaxy App store, letting you to decide whether or not to accept its suggestion. My main dread in switching from an iPhone (IOS) to a Galaxy (Android) phone was the unattractive and painful process of having to manually re-enter my entire list of phone numbers, one at a time, into the Galaxy. This solved the problem. All the other mechanisms of transfer, e.g., iCloud or iTunes back-up and then transfer via Google email, will work but seemed clumsy and unwieldy. The combination of this OTG cable and Samsung's app is simplicity itself. You can download and install the "Smart Switch Mobile" app from the Galaxy App store. The Smart Switch instructions list the restrictions on which devices and operating systems will support the On-The-Go (OTG) transfer mechanism. In addition to the iPhone-to-Galaxy transfer, it also supports Android-to-Android transfers (where the app resides on both the sending and receiving device). You should research it on your own to see if it fits your needs. But for me, Samsung has won me over with this simple and customer-friendly process.

I purchased a single one of these cables in white. I tested the product by plugging an 8gb flashdrive into my LG G4 running Android v6.0 and it worked perfectly. I was able to view photos that were located on the flashdrive, and I was also able to copy photos and videos to the flashdrive without any issues. My one complaint with the cable is that the USB input and Micro USB plug seem a little "odd". The USB input feels a little tight but that could be on purpose in order to prevent a USB from falling out of the cable. The larger issue is with the Micro USB. The plug will go half way into a device before it starts to resist. This is normal with Micro USBs, but this cable "resists" very hard, almost to the point where I wondered if I had it plugged in all the way. I pushed the cable in harder and it clicked in, but it was a little worrysome. Since then I have not had to press as hard, but none of my other Micro USBs require as much push as this cable.

Lo positivo: • El cable es de buena calidad – sienta bien a la mano • NO hay errores de ningún tipo a la hora de usarlo, funciona perfectamente. • La transferencia datos – archivos de una memoria Flash al dispositivo conectado, se hace rápidamente, sin errores durante el proceso. • El cable es firme y por ello existe una conexión estable, entre el móvil – Tablet y el cable OTG. • Funciona correctamente con los dispositivos que se especifican en la descripción del producto (mandos de consola de videojuegos, ratón de computadora, teclados y memorias Flash). Lo negativo: El cable es un poco corto, por lo tanto, se hace algo incómodo a la hora de conectar una memoria Flash. Sin embargo, esto no afecta el funcionamiento del cable OTG, ni de la memoria Flash. Conclusiones: En términos generales, este cable OTG funciona correctamente, con una buena calidad y relación calidad – precio es una compra acertada.
