Dico 541-756-6 Nyalox Bench Brush 6-Inch Orange 120 Grit

I have used this brand since the 1980's, and it surprises me how few people know about Nyalox brushes. They do a superior job with removing rust and oxidation from metal. The bristles don't bend or fall out, and they last for a long time even under heavy use. When I show them to friends, they at first think it's a gimmick, but quickly become convinced when they see the results (and then buy it themselves). I have always had the ones that attach to a drill and for years wanted one on my bench grinder. Now that it is on my grinder, it is much easier to restore small parts, old tools, and cleaning up corroded components to a new shine. Because the Nylox lasts so long, this wheel is worth every penny.

I purchased the 6 inch Nyalox bench brush because I have been very pleased with the smaller 4 inch brushes used in a power drill. The 6 inch brush showered me with lost nylon bristles when I first turned it on and it continues to loose a large number of bristles every time I try to use it. The rotational speed is set correctly so I can only assume this is a quality control problem. The bristles will even pull out by hand when not attached to the grinder motor.
