**Great Quality Stiff Aida Cloth for Embroidery Projects**
I’m really pleased with this Aida cloth set! The 14-count black fabric is perfect for a variety of embroidery projects, and the size of each piece (12 inches by 18 inches) fits most embroidery hoops nicely. While the fabric is quite stiff, I actually appreciate this feature as it makes it easier to work with and keeps my designs well-supported. The 6-piece package offers excellent value and is great for various needlework, cross stitch, and machine embroidery tasks. If you prefer a stiffer fabric that holds its shape well, this is a solid choice!

Great product, great price
This is a definite value for cross stitchers! The fabric is a little stiff to begin with, loosens up a little as you stitch. However, as a rabid cross stitcher, I like the fact that the fabric stays tight in the hoop & I'm not constantly having to re-tighten the hoop. It's easy to work with, though would recommend either taping or stitching the raw edges as they do ravel. For the price, you can't beat it. You get 6 large pieces, which is more than enough to stitch several small projects per piece, 3-4 mid-size projects or one large project. Just can't go wrong with this product!

Great, but thick
These are great, but note they are thick feeling. They work good for crafts that you may want more of a stiff fabric.

Blue dots
This cloth is made with nice material and easy to use. to use. The only bad thing is that some of the pieces have this blue ink dotted around them, making the piece as whole unusable.

Nice product
Nice product. The fabric is very stiff which is good for a beginning cross stitcher.

great
I had a lot of floss and some patterns to try but needed some cross stitch canvas. This came recommended from the pattern designer and is a great price point. Canvas works well and was easy to cut down for my project.

Definitely 5 stars, but...
First I should admit that I haven't done cross stitch for quite a few years. However with my carpal tunneel and arthritis problems under better control now, I wanted to get back to it. However I haven't bought aida cloth in quite a few years. So I don't know how unusual this is or is not.The first thing you should knot is that the fabric is very stiff. I'm assuming at this point that it has been very heavily starched and that it will soften when washed. But I plan to use it with something to hang on the wall rather than a pillow top. So, if you want something softer, you will definitely need to test it out first. The stiffness of the fabric will be helpful when stitching. But I'm purchasing a frame for mine because i think putting it into a hoop will cause permanent distortion. Another asset for stitching is that the holes are quite distinct making them easier to see and to stitch than those of the softer cloth I've been used to. I'm not sure if that will bother me when it's stitched out and framed or not.All in all, I really like this fabric, even if it has characteristics I wish I'd known about before.

Gift for my friend’s spooky cross-stitch efforts
I got this as an added bonus for a friend that I bought a Halloween-themed cross-stitch book for. She was so excited.
