Very high quality, everything went together perfectly and worked as expected.

Purchased this three years ago and decided to write this now for those thinking if this is the right fit for you. It has been nothing but awesome for me. This thing I have had fun with using multiple different setups over the years. Borrowing some from friends and buying some for myself. It has allowed me to haul different gear while keeping the bed available for more space and keeping it relatively dry. It’s not water proof but really does a great job. If you towing a small camper probably the top high rack would work best with the cover however the low rack setup makes it easy to load and unload heavy kayaks. I like this thing a lot. The lock gives it security and you can open it without having to open the tail gate. It’s a very whelk thought out design. I worked directly with customer service on one small issues and they were extremely helpful and resolved it quickly. I’d buy again if I had to do it again.Only issues I ever came up with in 3 years is when 1) we had a bad ice storm you were not able to open it up. And when there is snow on it you should not bother opening it and just use the tail gate. I don’t think it would be any better though with flip cover. I’ve also heard the flip cover if you have something on it and flip it on accident you can damage the top. 2) when you want to use 100% of the bed space you cannot easily remove it. It’s pretty permanent because even if you do remove it you have to store it somewhere or disassemble it. With a flip top they are less permanent so that could be an advantage if you need more bed space. That’s really not been an issue for me with what I use the bed for.Hope my experience helped.

Update: Love the tonneau cover but today i noticed the end cap on the driver side where the tailgate is, is missing. My truck only has 1,400 miles on it and some of that was prior to installation. Probably haven’t used the tailgate more than 8-10 times.Either it just came off on it’s own or it was helped off by some idiot.Really aggravating, as you have to buy a rail and can’t just buy the end caps. That’s BS.Very easy install. The installation manual show how to install for many vehicles, just make sure you find your vehicle and it’s simple. Quality is outstanding. If you’re installing in a newer Tacoma like mine, you’ll need a Torx T-30 bit to remove the bed rail cap of the truck to install foam piece on either end. Literally took me and hour to do the whole thing.

Great tonneau cover, sturdy & secure. Easy to assemble but you need two people to set it the truck

Sheet metal part was incorrectly fabricated so plastic end caps were too small to cover sheet metal. End caps were forced on any way causing broken end caps. Poor tolerance control in manufacturing. No quality control at final assembly. Very expense product should not have this level of defect, period. This quality defect is why many complain about this product leaking. Way over priced for this level of quality. Amazon is great in handling return ship but now I am in a hunt for a better brand Tonneau cover.

Expensive, but has to be the best looking and functional cover I have seen. Easy to install with two people to lift into the bed. Good instructions, lots of youtube video information. Good website to compare/contrast other models. Feels solid, and the I love that any position is lockable.

After a year of research on Tonneau covers I picked this one and glad I did. It is made of very high quality aluminum with a nice robust matte finish which should last for years. The install on my Tacoma took less than two hours and couldn't have been much easier to install using the rails on the bed. I'm glad I made this choice for a cover.

Finally bit the bullet and bought this top. It’s pricier than all the other tops out there but worth the price. I previously had a Roll-n-top, it was good but always leaked. The Retrax is much smoother and better water proofed. It still leak but I’m going to seal the top rail and hopefully that will do the trick. The other issue is the side stirrups won’t attach back after the the rails to the top was secured. I’ll take the top off at a later time and try to attach them then. Otherwise it’s GREAT, it locks in any position. It’s very easy to install by yourself, you’ll need help putting it on but that’s the only time.
