AB Lifestyles Olympic Queen Quilted Mattress Pad, 12 inch Pocket Depth, USA-Made (66x80)

As those of you who are reading this know, it is pretty hard to find linens for an olympic queen, and the ones I did find, up til now, have been very poor in quality. But my mattress pad was splitting down the middle, so I had no choice to buy a new one. I am so pleased with this mattress pad. Much thicker quilting than I expected, and sides are substantial with elastic all the way around. Good fit, nice and snug. The loft of the quilting actually made sleeping nicer! Has only been on the bed for about a week. Haven't washed yet. But directions say machine wash and dry.

Fits our Olympic queen perfectly. We just had a new mattress built since we liked the size of our original Olympic queen. Finding bedding is a challenge. This mattress pad fit well. We only wanted a pad not a topper and this fits the bill. The elastic at the bottom makes a good fit on our 12 inch mattress. Good quality. A little pricey but this is not a standard size so that is somewhat expected.

I use this mattress pad in my college dorm room, placed over a 1" memory foam mattress topper, and they work absolutely wonderfully together! It's like sleeping on a cloud.As for the size of it, it fits perfectly over a twin XL mattress, and it secures in place around the edges.As for the quality, It doesn't rip or shed in the wash if you wash it under a delicate shedding. It's very plush and very comfortable, even to sleep on bare.The only complaint I have is that it stains pretty easily. I spilled a drink on it once, and it didn't come out in the wash, it just slightly faded and spread a bit. Thankfully that's not a problem since nobody can see my mattress pad anyway!But all in all, I would recommend it to a friend.

Bought this mattress pad for our guest bedroom/Olympic sized pull out sleeper sofa from Room and Board. My Husband's parents thought the bed was very comfy. The mattress pad does not have a diamond pattern shown in the photo. It has a striped quilted pattern but that's ok. Fit the mattress great. I opened up the package right away to air out the mattress pad because our guests were arriving the next day. There was no smell. Great product. Not super thick padding but enough to make the bed a little more comfy and protect the mattress.

My husband and I recently visited a Sleep Numbers store (in our local mall) as we needed a replacement mattress pad. They asked if we were customers (customers could get a discount on the accessories). We informed them we were. Their price for an "expanded queen" mattress pad would have been $149.00! With our "discount" (?) it STILL would have been OVER $100.00. I told my husband I would shop for one "on-line". Sleep Numbers kind of "has you" if you happen to own an "expanded queen size" bed of theirs (dimensions are 66" x 80" (six inches wider than the STANDARD "queen size"). I found in my on-line search that the "Olympic size" queen offers the same dimensions!I ordered this item on 2/21 and received it TODAY (2/22)!!! The quality is good (not the diamond shaped quilting pictured online - mine is vertical - but that doesn't matter). It's not SO heavy that I'd worry about putting it in our washing machine! There is more fabric to the side panels than what we need but can be tucked under easily enough! I am pleased with the quality, SPEED with which it arrived and THRILLED that I was able to find an affordable substitute!Take heed fellow Sleep Numbers mattress owners! You need NOT be price gouged! :)

Weird size mattress in our RV, hard to find Olympic Queen. This Mattress Pad fits perfectly and is well made at a good price. Also machine washable.

The mattress pad appears to be decent quality. The sides are made from a non-stretch fabric which is not ideal and as other people have stated it is very bulky. Another thing that surprised me is that there is no tag on the cover with washing instructions. To me this should be very standard. The item on Amazon says wash and tumble dry low but does not indicate the water. I washed it in warm water and the sides shrunk a bit and it's not as bulky. Given the type of deal you can get on a name brand cover at TJ Maxx this is a bit spendy at $70 but I have no choice bc the expanded queen (for sleep # bed) is hard to find.Also, I'm not complaining but on Amazon it says it's 250 thread-count however the one I received has information on the packaging that says it's 300 thread-count.The paddinf feels very comfortable and I hope it holds up at least a year.

We were so excited to get this mattress pad. It fit our Sleep Number extended queen perfectly and it was very well made. Unfortunately after approximately 3 hours of sleep I awakened itching all over. The eye facing the bed was even itching and the skin around it puffy and swollen. I was in a panic because I couldn’t breathe. I spent the rest of the night on the sofa and the pad is in the washer right now. Something in this is a potent allergy trigger for me. In all fairness my husband was unaffected. If washing doesn’t help, I will take a sample to an allergist and see what the heck these folks put on this. Historically I am mildly sensitive to fabric sizing and very sensitive to insecticides and solvents. I hope washing helps as we wouldn’t return something we’ve slept on and laundered. I suspect it’s a fire retardant or a finishing chemical.8/23/2018 Raised the Review to 3 stars. Washing the pad got the allergen out and it is an adequate mattress pad
