ODEAR Super Bright Adjustable Rechargeable Headlamp Flashlight Torch HeadLamp for Mining Camping Hiking Fishing

I live off grid in the middle of 40 acres of woods. I use a headlamp pretty much every day 365. I bought this one because it had decent reviews. It cost 17$. It replaced an older lamp I had that still works but just wasn't very bright. This thing shoots a very bright beam about 120 feet and floods the immediate area with light that lets you see what is around you and avoid running into things. I had to go check my game cams after dark a few nights ago. I took this light and got on my tractor. (a 30 horse stiener 25 years old). Going through the woods, this unit was brighter than my tractor headlights. I figured that for 17$ I would give it a try. I'm glad I did, it's a great little unit. The only thing I might add is that I'm not sure just how good the rechargable battery is. It seems to get noticeably dimmer after about a weeks worth of use (maybe 2 hours of light). Again, I paid 17$ for it, how much can you ask from a light that cost that much. I'll update after I have it 6 months or so.(Update) April 1, 2019) This little sucker continues to be my go to light off grid. I've used it every night over the long dark winter and it's so small and bright that I use it when I just need a flashlight. It has operated flawlessly for a $17 light and I'm getting ready to get another one so I have a spare if something does go wrong with it. It's VERY bright, it's cheap, oh, and the battery has held a charge very well also. Highly recommend.Update Nov 2019- This little light is still going strong, I have to go out after dark most every night and this is the light I grab to light the way. After using it for a year now, I'm still as happy with it as I was the day it arrived. It's very bright, it holds a charge well (one charge lasts about 5 weeks of 15 minutes per day use) and it was very inexpensive. I hope they d0n't change it.Update Aug 2020- STILL going strong. I've used this light EVERY NIGHT for a year and a half now and I'm actually back to order another one so I have it on standby if something happens to the original.

The only reason i gave this 4 stars is because this should not be a head wearing light. The reason i say that is because it does not offer a zoom level and thus it does not offer great lighting for up close. Now, that set aside, this dang thing is INSANE. If you're looking for something that will shine a long distance, this is it. I think they claim 500 meters (~1600 feet), well if they're off, they're off by a foot or two. This has a very small (4-6 inch radius) spot light that will shine up to heaven and down to hell. No Joke, if you're looking for distance, this will surprise the heck out of you for the money.

WOW this thing is BRIGHT! This is the real deal and is by far the brightest head lamp/light that I have purchased. I have purchased at least four different models and of the four have settled on keeping two of them due to their performance and this is one of those two and this is my favorite head lamp. I have no doubt that this one takes more power and has a shorter battery life but it really gets the job done. I have amended my review to add a few more comments that might help. I have many bright lights but this light is by far brighter and more concentrated than the others. One big difference is how condensed and tight this light is and rather than lighting up a larger area does a super job of intense directed light in one tight area.I have a bass boat that doesn't have a docking light on the front so I use this head lamp to see the dock as I'm approaching and it really draws attention from the other boaters who are so impressed with the amount of light that it directs in the direction you are looking. This is one powerful light and I'd caution anyone from shining it into someone else's eyes. This light actually out performs many dedicated docking lights for boats to light up the boat ramps and trailers as you trailer your boats. If you are looking for a light to illuminate your tackle or tool box this light would mostly be overkill but it would surely do the job. if though you are looking for one of the best flashlights to illuminate what you need or want to be illuminated either from a distance or up close then this is your product. It's comfortable on the head and secures to your hat or head nicely and easily. I'd have no qualms or problem with purchasing it again either for myself or a gift for a friend. I'm sure there are other competition products that are also good but for my thoughts this one is among the best and definitely priced well.

You could fly a plane at night with this. I light up the mountain from 600ft away. It's a little large but I don't find it too uncomfortable when using it for long periods. The battery and function is incredible but you can't adjust the beam other than 2 selections (bright and even brighter.) It's also not stable enough to go running with but other than that, this is a badass light that will illuminate a small village from a quarter mile away, lol.

Great light, Very bright. Just what you need to see at night.

Now this is a great product! Bright bright focused lite as the picture shows. Am putting a red plastic film on for nite hunting. I have a red scope lite but it's hard to find crosshairs @ 40 yds. No heat on the lenses from the LED lite. Why 4 stars? Thought I read battery life of 4-5 hrs, but seems to start losing peak lighting after 1 hour. For my applications that's still not bad. Also the charger wire does't work with AC. I bought the Odear hand-held spot lite at the same time and fortunately the head-lite charger wire plugs into the hand-held for charging. Hand-held plugs in to AC. I use the hand held looking for critters before I let the dog out.

I love it. I have a brighter headlamp but it's got a cord and a big bulky battery pack. This light is lighter and there's no cord or battery pack to get in the way. The battery lasts a very long time on a single charge. I've used it for 2 weeks straight going and coming from my deer stand on a single charge and it was still bright when I decided to charge the battery. Its definitely worth the money and lasts a long time. I highly recommend this light for any kind of hunter, fisher, mechanic, lineman and anybody that works in dark places such as attics or crawl spaces. Very comfortable and durable
