Good if you apply it properly, not so good if you don't
I made some decorations for a birthday party using this project. The decorations held up really well in the short term. I liked them so much that I kept them even after the party, but they began to fall apart. What had happened was that I was messy in applying the tape and had stretched it in some areas. DON'T STRETCH THE TAPE!!! The elastic energy in the tape is so strong that the tape un-stretches after awhile, and whatever you stuck to it starts popping off. I noticed that my craft project didn't fall apart in areas where I DIDN'T stretch the tape. So, overall, this glue is better than a glue-gun if you use it properly. No smell, no mess.

OK, but not as great as claimed!
Everybody likes to advertise their product as "the best thing since sliced bread", but that isn't always the case. I ordered this specifically to re-mount the glass rear window back to the fabric convertible top on a 1997 Chevy convertible. It did not hold for 10 minutes. So I never got to test the UV resistance or waterproof capabilities. It shows a demo in the commercials of mounting many different surfaces and materials together. Fact is, NO, it will NOT bond most surfaces together. But, it did work well in fixing a leak in a copper above-ground water pipe on a swimming pool. The leak was on the pressure side of the pump and it did it's job adequately. UGlu MTR1065 Industrial Tape Roll, 1-Inch-by-65-Foot

I love this stuff
So strong. I love this stuff. of course it will for sure take down the paint on the wall, but if you're on a different type of surface this stuff it the best. I always have a roll of this and a roll of Joe's sticky stuff in my kit. FYI, if you run out and don't have time to reorder, Scotch now makes a product that is clearly inferior to this but is actually sold in Home Depot and it can do the trick until your order of UGlu arrives.

Look out!
I used this to hang poster boards with artwork on them over top of framed pictures that were on a wall to make an art show. Now I was told I have to take the art show down, all this uglu is on the plexiglass picture frames and is NOT easy to remove as says it is from comments and description. Any ideas on how to remove this mess I have on a dozen very large picture frames?

I love the fact that it comes in a roll and ...
As one of the biggest fans of this product.......it pains me to give this a low rating. I would suggest to the manufacturers to make a CUTTER THAT IS RESISTANT TO THE GLUE!. I love the fact that it comes in a roll and I can cut it any length I like, but the cutting is horrible.....end up wasting alot of product. ;(

Works great for light items on normal walls
Works great for light items on normal walls but definitely does not work well on all surfaces. The item I was trying to put on the wall was light to begin with so I was very hopeful that it would work, but did not work. However, worked great hanging light pictures on normal walls.

Great stuff, but something finicky to use
This tape is great, but has to be used carefully, otherwise it will ball up. It's difficult to use because it sticks to the scissors a little and stretches, which isn't a great thing because it the tape is stretched on the item being used, it will then shrink and the item will pop apart. Otherwise, it is great for so many things...putting things on the wall, holding carpet down, etc. etc.

Hard To Work With !
First, it is not 1 inch wide. It is more like 1/2" wide under the peel layer. Second, it did not stick to the concrete surface without me hammering it down, and then when I went to peel the paper layer off, the glue surface wanted to come up also !!! Maybe I was working on too cold a day ??
