Quick and easy install. Decent instructions. Part fit. Did have a little trouble getting one rod inserted into the other all the way, but not enough to knock a star off or anything. Definitely the kit I'll be buying when the backyard faucet starts leaking, which will probably be soon as they're the same age.

I had to replace my rod in my 20 year old Woodford. The end on the inside had broken off inside the pipe. I bought this adjustable kit and it worked perfect. Just follow the instructions. One thing I will point out is that although the brass washer does not come in this kit, you will need to reinstall, your old brass washer. It goes on the shaft before you put the packing on. Since the new brass washer did not come in the adjustable kit I figured I didn’t need to put it back in. But you do. Don’t make the mistake I did and have to do it twice. The company is second to none in customer service by the way.

My valve had a broken shaft, and the multi-length shaft (and knob) in the kit were just what I needed to repair it quickly (without disassembling it to measure in advance). I was a bit shocked at the price, but facing the alternative of replacing the fixture-- this was expedient and it installed quite nicely.

This item saved me from having to cut into the wall to replace the entire fixture. I had a bad leak that was quickly repaired. I was able to finish the job by myself within 10 minutes. The faucet now performs as it did from the factory. The repair saved me a few hundred dollars that I would have has to spend on a plumber to fix. Great value. Perfect fit.

Better price than the manufacturer. Great sturdy repair with the bonus of an upgrade. Don't need to know the length needed beforehand as this accommodates all of the Woodford Model 14 & 17 (I think). Middle aged female with limited repair skills. I had absolutely NO issue following the directions & getting this installed. Afterwards, the spigot was very difficult to turn off & on, with a little research, I figured out I had over-tightened the packing nut. Loosened it up a tad & my spigot works better than it ever did in the entire 10 years I've lived in my current home.

Easy to figure out how to do the installation. So easy my 9 year old grand son did it while I watched.

I have an old cabin built in 1967 and it's hard to find parts for my old hose faucet. This one fit perfectly and works great! No leaks! A++++++
