Harvy Extra Long Folding Cane

I'm 6'4" and this cane fits me perfectly on the shortest setting!Bought this for a recent flight. It is super easy to fold and fit right in the seat pocket in front of me. Make sure you keep the plastic bracket that it comes with, that is what you slide the cane back into after you collapse it. That's the key.When you're ready to use the cane, just slide the plastic bracket off and let gravity do the work. Just hold the handle and the cane straightens itself out automatically. Great for quickly getting ready to deplane.The handle feels sturdy and I feel well supported while walking with it.I recommend this to any tall people looking for a cane to travel with.

I am a tall guy and I had mobility problems. I couldn't find a cane that fit my size. I found this one and it worked just great. I highly recommend this cane if you are tall, like over 6'5" or taller. This cane is for you.

I bought this for a foot injury. I'm 6' 5.5" and couldn't find anything long enough at any medical supply stores. This is plenty long enough and I'd say it would work up to 6' 8" if you happen to be that tall. It comes with a little sleeve/clip to keep it together when it's completely folded up. It's like a little plastic fixed-length belt. Taking it on a plane kind of necessitates using that little sleep/clip so you can get it under your seat or (as I did) put it in overhead. In the car I just fold it in half and it will generally stay that way without using anything to keep it folded. The wood on the handle is pretty soft and you will notice quickly that you will bash up the finish on the edges of the handle pretty quickly. But for an inexpensive cane, that's not a big deal. When I first got it for a couple of days something would rattle inside when I would step, but then it stopped doing it. Overall though, given the price, and the fact it folds up for travel, this was a great buy.

I purchased this cane for my 6'6" father. It is the ONLY classic folding cane I was able to find for a very tall person. The height helps him to stand up straighter, just like using a tall person walker. This is a very important aid for a tall person to keep their posture upright for better balance, something you don't think about until you work with a tall person! It has held up well and very strong. The wooden handle has cracked and chipped from him dropping it, but that is to be expected with long term use. The cane is very sturdy and easy for him to fold when he needs to store it away. I have since purchased another XLong folding cane for him to keep nice for his special outings. Note: The straighter Fritz handle is easier for a person with larger hands to hold as compared to the curved Derby shape. I did not think about this, but there is a big difference in comfort. This is his best "friend" now! Great purchase!

Excellent for husband's need. Height is perfect for tall stature 6'3". Foldable and light weight. Fashionable as well.

As I would expect of a cane from Harvy Surgical Supply (I have two other Harvy canes) the quality of this product is excellent. It folds easily into four sections making a package that is more compact than anticipated. I need to use a cane part of the time, so when folded I can carry this cane in a briefcase or suitcase and have it handy. When unfolded, the cane is sturdy, yet light in weight. The length adjustment feature is very useful. Within the adjustment range of 39 to 43 inches, the increments are one inch apart. The extra-long length is greatly appreciated (I'm 6-4). The handle is comfortable and effective. Regarding appearance, the black finish of the tube is virtually flawless and the handle is handsome with brown wood grain. In sum, this product is highly recommended.

The paint started to come off the handle within three days. But, it is a good sturdy cane.
