The car worked as well or maybe a little better than expected. Went through the snow pretty well. I was pleasantly surprised. Unfortuntaley it was broken the first day after little brother accidentally stepped on it and broke one of the wheels off. I am currently truing to contact the seller so I can see where I might get some replacement axles so I can fix the car.

We have gotten 2 of these and with both of them the wheels fall off in a few days of indoor use. It is too bad because it was really fun until the wheels came off. Never got to try it in water and I don't think I will order another.

The headline says it all. First one was green and the remote never worked. Second one was red; the remote powers up but never controlled the car. In both cases the car does power up with a red light but never moved or responded to the remote in any way.I can't help but think this product is an extremely risky purchase. What are the odds I would buy two of them independently and both are complete duds?On the positive side it does look very good with a clean design and finish.

I bought 2 for grandkids. They had fun with them for 2 days and then one just quit working. Will return one for exchange.

We got one of these for my son for Christmas and the wheel fell off. We sent it back and replaced it and the wheel fell off the second one shortly after we got it. It says it can flip and drive over most anything, but they do not tell you it will fall apart on you. I would not recommend buying this product.

I've had this product for 5 days and on day 5 the back left wheel just fell out, when I also checked the other wheels the right back wheel screw was missing. This car is made for heavy duty driving and I have only driven it indoors yet I experienced this. I would not reccommed a but on this.

Orderded this item for grandkid for xmas...within a day all it would do is spin in a circle....got a replacement sent and is doing the same thing...cheap garbage

We ordered the amphibious version of this car, which comes with two battery packs. The car feels very well built and is very powerful, tearing through gravel, dirt and piles of leaves with ease. It can also flip itself via it's own momentum or by climbing a wall, and drives fine both upside down and right-side up. Our little one really loves this car, although is a bit young for it (4) and needs to use it under supervision, as they are tempted to pick it up a lot or try to stand on it etc. The box says 8+, which seems about right for unsupervised use. We have found it is a bit too fast and noisy for indoor play, but would work well in a very large playroom or gymnasium type space. We also tested the car in the bathtub after a bath and it drives surprisingly well in the water. It floats like a cork and you can actually steer and control it well on the water, very cool. Really looking forward to trying it at the beach this summer.One note, the battery charger that comes with the battery packs has a red light to indicate charge. When you first plug it in it lights up red, but eventually fades out. I have noticed that just because the light is out, the battery is not done charging, it needs another hour or so after the light goes out to get the most out of the battery. When we let the batteries fully charge they give us a good 15 to 20 minutes each. The first time, I removed the battery shortly after the charge indicator had gone out, and that gave us only about 10 minutes of run time per battery.--update-- Wheel fell off after several weeks of use. Seller replaced it hassle free, but the wheel has also come off the replacement after a similar amount of time. The part which attaches the wheel to the body of the car is made of plastic, and in both cases this part cracked and ultimately came loose. I believe some of the wheels (one on each car) was over-tightened at the factory, cracking the plastic. If this centre piece was metal, it would be much better. Fortunately for us, because we received the second car, we have 3 spare wheels from the first car, so we will continue to get a lot of use out of this item.

Shipping was really fast. The car itself is holding up good so far. The second battery is really nice. As some others have commented though it sucks that the battery compartment is held in place by screws. One of these screws is already not tightening up correctly after only changing the battery three times.Update:We had previously just used it indoors as it was too cold outside. (was a Christmas present) now that we used it outside. One of the wheels broke of after the second time having it outside. I don't know if this thing has a warranty of some sort or spare parts. Will update again once I find out. It's just been really disappointing that it breaks so fast.Update: After contacting the seller and asking the seller about a warranty he offered a refund or sending a new car. I chose a new car and that way I have spare parts and hope that the new car is of better quality.Second Update: After my son used the second car for a bit one of the wheels fell off again. Since I now had a spare one I disassembled one and found out what the problem is. The wheels are screwed to a small black plastic piece (picture attached). That small plastic piece is then fitted on the motor and it seems like in one case the plastic broke, and the other time the groves from the motor just stripped the plastic straight and in turn it wasn't holding anymore.Since this is a part that seems to fail fairly premature I would recommend that the manufacturer ships a couple extra pieces along so that the car can easily be repaired.

This rc car could be very fun... but one of the wheel fall off the first day. Put it back on. Another one fall off the next day. Put it back on but the plastic that hold the wheel to the driven shaft was already slack so there where no traction anymore on that wheel (the car wasn't going straight anymore cause of that). I glued it to avoid a return... but then that plastic holding it broke in 2. I glued it again this morning... hope it would work and last...

NOTE: I was forced to give a rating, otherwise my review would not be submitted.....I technically would give this product a ZERO RATING. We assembled it, charged it and it only worked for 3 seconds. My husband who is very handy and knows his way around electronics tried fixing it by opening up the remote to see if there were any loose wires, everything looked in tact. Unfortunately, I purchased this as a Christmas gift but decided to give it to my son for his birthday in February, now deadline date to return it has passed. SO DISAPPOINTED!!!

My kids love it! They did play before to similar contorted cars but this one is strong and steady. The seller did include an extra battery so they can go for long time playing with the car!
