Really good product but two areas of concern.I ordered 2 of these for the top and bottom of a shed door - I was amazed to find that the keys were the same. It may have been luck but more likely that there is only one key..... So beware if your neighbour has one. My worry is anyone could order one just to get a key - for real security I would add a normal hasp with a padlock.Secondly it is possible to lock yourself in - when you open it you turn the key back half way to get it out. The lock can be locked again without the key. If the door slammed it could knock the lock shut - very unlikely - but another family member could easily lock it not knowing I'm inside - there is no way to open from the inside.Good points - they work well, when closed all the screw heads are covered, screws supplied are OK and 2 sizes provided..Definitely good value if your neighbour doesn't have one 😁

I bought this lock to replace the old combination bolt lock for my shed. It was quick and easy to put on, but, due to the nature of sheds, particularly old ones, the plane of the door versus the plane of the frame is slightly out of alignment. This lock has very little margin of tolerance (about 2mm) and, as a result, I could not swivel the lock as I could not get the hasp plate to lay completely flat against it.On a better quality door & frame, such as a house door, I am sure it will work just fine, so I am sure I will eventually find another use for it as it looks robust and very secure.

I bought two of these to beef up the security on my garage as I have a chrome version already installed on my shed and have been happy with that.The toggle lock avoids some of the weaknesses of a traditional padlock and are more convenient, no putting down the pad down forgetting where you put it. I have seen some reports saying they all have the same keys but these two have their own individual keys. I'm sure a good blow from a hammer would probably remove the toggle but this would draw unwanted attention.Very easy to install, if you use the screws supplied but that's the greatest weakness. They come with 3/4" wood screws which would be easily pried out of the door. I drilled through and installed stainless steel screws with nuts and a plate on the reverse. This improves their security many fold but makes the installation more difficult.The silk black finish looks very smart but I'm not sure how long that will last, it's probably very thin.In summery, theses locks are not intended to protect the Crown jewels or Fort Knox but are reasonably good, convenient to use and easy to install.

After installing this lock on a back gate all was well for the 1st 4 weeks, then i noticed that it was taking a couple of goes to get the lock to engage so that he latch would stay shut. As time pasted it has totally stopped working now. I'm currently looking for a replacement lock.Pro's -Packaging is goodWorks for a fews weeksCon's -Poor quality product stopped working after short period of time.

I guess it is as advertised and does what it says. I have fitted it no problem and it works. Though I am a little anxious as to how robust it is as just feels a little lightweight? As described and no issues at present(review written after 1 week in use)

No template for adding to this to the door. So takes a while to find the right position.Came off during winds last night. So the product isn't fit for purpose. Will message the seller.

Good enough for what I need. Could be a bit stronger but easy to fit and works fine.Whether the finish is durable for outside use, time will tell. Fitted to a side gate and sprayed with rust protection.I would prefer it not self locking, that could be embarassing!Good value though.

Bought this as an additional lock for my shed due to burglaries in the area. Simple to fit and love that you don't need the key to lock it again.
