Vivicastle Women's USA High Waist Band Bodycon Career Office Midi Pencil Skirt

I found it!!! As a fan of LuLaRoe's clothing, but also a teacher who can't afford to spend all that much on clothes, I've been looking to Amazon retailers to find less expensive versions of my favorite LLR styles. Most were pretty easy to find, from the "butter leggings" to tunics that mimic the "Irma" or "Perfect T" to a cardigan that is identical to the "Sarah"! But as a teacher, it's the Cassie skirt that I love and need most. For anyone who hasn't tried one of the LLR Cassie's yet, they're pencil skirts that look professional and sleek while still feeling nearly as comfortable as wearing your favorite pair of sweats. They're not only my favorite skirts to wear to work, but they're also stylish and comfortable enough that I wear them on my off-time too! And I am so excited to report that I've found a skirt identical to the LuLaRoe Cassie but for half the price in this marvelous ViviCastle skirt.The look and feel of this skirt feels just the same as that wonderful, stretchy and textured material used in the Cassie skirts. The quality is on par, this skirt is not at all see-through and in fact is so identical to the LLR skirt that I can only think of two differences:1. SIZES: In short, you need to size up. I'm 5'7", 155 pounds, usually wear a Medium in typical department store ladies attire, a Large in juniors sizes, and I wear a small in LuLaRoe's Cassie skirt. After reading reviews and this brands size information I bought the size large and I'm so glad I did! The fit seems nearly identical to my Small LuLaRoe skirts in both the waist and hips. I also own a couple of Medium LuLaRoe skirts and after comparing both LLR skirt sizes to this Large Vivicastle, I can promise you that the Large in this brand is DEFINITELY equivalent to the LLR small! So my best advice on sizing would be: if you know your true size for the Cassie skirt, size up 2 sizes from that. If you don't know your Cassie size then either size up 1 size from your ladies skirt size or buy your regular Juniors skirt size. But as long as you find your correct size then it will be identical to your Cassie skirt in every regard except...2. LENGTH: This detail is so minor I didn't actually notice it when trying the skirt on, it was only when I held up my Small Cassie against my Large Vivicastle that I realized that the Vivicastle skirt is approx 2 inches longer! At my height this really didn't make a difference at all but I could see where this could be an important detail for others. It is truly the ONLY way to tell the Vivicastle skirt apart from a Lularoe Cassie in equivalent sizes aside from checking the label on the tags!I will attach pictures that will hopefully help with some of the aspects I described above! Please note that the Vivicastle skirt is the Black and White Polka Dots (size Large) and the Lularoe skirt is the Blue/Green Stripes (size Small).Okay, time for me to finish this review so I can pick out a few more of these skirts to buy! I ordered two of these skirts, and they couldn't have been more different. One was a slightly silky feeling, very stretchy material that fit great. The other was a waffle-y, not stretchy at all, kind of scratchy fabric that was super small. I love the stretchy one, but I'm very disappointed by the waffle-y knit one (the white and blue floral). I also think the reviews on this page are probably misleading - Vivicastle puts a sheet in with every order saying that if you give them a five-star review, they'll send you a free necklace or bracelet. This really bothered me, so I'd take all the five-star reviews with a grain of salt.

It's what I expected--a lightweight, stretchy pencil skirt.What I didn't expect was the flyer that came with it: "How to receive a free gift from Vivicastle. After you leave a positive feedback and 5 star rating on the product review, please email us at [email protected] with your order number and the buyer name used. You will receive a complimentary necklace or bracelet. :)"So you really can't trust any of the 5-star reviews for their products.

I love this skirt it fits great,stretchy,so you can buy what u normally wear .i usually wear a US size L/Xl and i bought an xl fit great.I'm planning to buy some more.my hubby love the skirts.

I miss my old pencil skirt. I paid about $20 for this, but it's definitely worth more like $5 or less. It definitely cost less than $1 to produce. The fabric is incredibly cheap and isn't firm enough to really hold in the lumps. For example, if I tucked in a shirt or something, the folds show through because the fabric isn't solid enough. This is especially comparing to my former pencil skirt that I got at some other cheap fashion store for the same price where it lasted me several years and even got me a lot of compliments. The fabric had been more of your traditional bodycon materials. This one just wasn't worth it. Don't give into all the other reviews!!! I wouldn't say I hate it, so the 2 star reviews are literally because it "gets the job done." I'm still able to wear it and it looks OK, but yeah, definitely cheapy feel and didn't feel at my best at a professional event.

Does not wrinkle. Conforms to body, easy to move. Breatheable.FITTING: Fits perfectly. As expected. If you get a size smaller, it stretches and still looks great looks very professional and also very sexy.Misc thoughts: I wish it came in a navy blue! I ended up ordering one from a different seller.

Loved the fit of the skirt beautiful color

This is a very nice skirt! It has a slight sheen to it, which adds to its professional look--meaning it doesnt look cheap like the skirts that are that cotton matte looking type. My only complaint is the sizing. In my opinion this skirt runs small for those of us who are curvy. I usually wear size large--sometimes extra large.. Im 5'2 and weigh about 188 lbs. I also have lost alot of weight, therefore some of my weight is due to massive amounts of loose skin (Just want to give you an idea of my shape and size therefore you can judge what size will work 4 u..). I bought this skirt in size large and it barely fits--I wanted to wear it to a business meeting, however its so tight that I cant wear it for that anylonger. I can only wear it on the weekend on date night, because it really hugs your tushy--every curve is seriously accentuated! I recommend that the curvier girls order a few sizes up, due to it being a bodycon type if material. I gave it 5 stars, because this is a nice skirt. I didnt feel I should knock off stars, when its my fault for ordering the wrong size for my body shape. Plus this issss actually a great date night skirt, due to how it hugs your curves etc.... So 5 stars it is...
