Our plugs are rather old, so they did not hold the entire unit rather well (especially with animals running through the area).In order to get better line of sight / 5ghz connection in my hallway I used a countersink bit to make a couple of holes and mounted it to the wall in visible line with the main one. This tremendously improved our connection to achieve high speeds throughout the house.Just remember that if you have a house with lead paint/ lot of plaster you may need more than 3+ google wifi + mounts to get consistent high speed connection. for mobile it's not an issue, but if you are using something like Steam link from one end of the house to the other, you need to have a solid connection.

We have a very large house, 5000 sq feet. Installing three of these in my basement and connecting them with Ethernet cable. I was able to get very strong internet Signal anywhere in our house. We can stream YouTube TV on three different TV’s and still use the internet at the same time. Our internet service is 100mps. An Internet speed test will read 90mps to 100mps+ in 90% of the house. Ethernet cable was required due to the size of our house. Purchasing more units likely would have achieved the same results. But I had the ability to use Ethernet cable in our basement, so that is what I did. You would not have to connect these with Ethernet cable in a smaller house. These replaced Apple routers that could not handle streaming requirements.Super easy to setup. Very nice product.

These worked out great as a solution for our beach house and guest. Usually the best location for receptions is hallways that are equally distant to rooms where wifi is being used. The only issue and I am sure it is mentioned is that the outlet need to be a very tight one or this will not work. New outlets cost under $2 and installation is as easy as cutting the power and wiring exactly as the one being replaced. Check at the store with an extension cord or and other plug before you install.

At first I was having problems keeping the power plug in the outlet. So I looked on YouTube and found that it was typical for new homes to use cheap outlets that don’t retain a plug very well. So this morning I went to Lowe’s and picked up two new outlets and replaced them in the locations where I was using this product. I must say this product is an excellent design as it retains the cord and the plug providing more stability and now it plugs in and is retained tightly in the outlet. If your plug is falling out of the Outlet don’t blame this product. You need to replace your plugoutlet don’t blame this product. You need to replace your your outlets. Two thumbs up for this product.

These really make placing your Google wifi points easy. If you have a multi-story home the best place to put a Google WiFi to cover a whole floor is probably going to be in the hallway between the various rooms. There's usually a wall outlet in the hall but you may not have room for a table to place the Google point on. But with these brackets you don't need a table as they hang from the outlet and sit flush against the wall and require no drilling into your drywall to hang them. They also keep the cords neat and out of the way so they're not a tripping hazard. An added bonus is that the Google WiFi point's led light makes an excellent night light for the hallway as well.

This device is excellent for mounting a Google Wi-fi device to the wall at an outlet. It's small and looks very tidy. However, I don't believe this fits the newest Google Wi-fi (or is it Nest now?) devices, so make sure to get one that is compatible with your device.

The wall mount bracket is effective at concealing the power cable behind the Google WiFi unit. Because the center of gravity of the unit in the mount is a few inches from the wall, I could not plug in the mount with the plug at the bottom - it would fall out of the wall socket, but hanging it with the plug at the top was fairly secure. The mount makes sense if you have wall sockets that are out in the open and not behind furniture that you want close to the wall.

I'm liking these so far. They were easy to install and fit perfectly around the Google wifi. The only complaint I have is fitting the cord in. Mine stick out a little in the back because it's impossible to get them all the way in.I think it's a decent product but if you're OCD stay away. The cord doesn't fit all that perfectly.
