One sock stopped working.
I purchased three pairs of these socks, and one of the socks has stopped working in 9 months time. There is no way to contact the seller. Pamphlet states: (condensed) Please make sure to contact us by buyer message/Email us through your order number. There is no way to email the vendor, or Amazon through the order.I'm not sure if this should encourage you to buy the coverage, or not buy the socks. When they worked, they were excellent.

Giving these heated socks a 3 star review, in case you were wondering where the headline comes from. I bought a Large pr. a few weeks ago. Love them under my ski boots! So after deciding they were great, tho a bit big, I thought I'd order a Medium pr. so when the Large ones were washed and drying I'd have a spare pr. The Mediums fit much better......but OUCH! The large pr. I used the medium setting for heat. Very nice. Thought I'd do the same with the new pr. Wowza, too hot. Switched to the lowest setting. After less than a half hr. I had to shut them down. After coming home, this is what I saw on my right foot. A small blister just in back of the toes and a red mark further back. Not sure if it was because of being a bit tighter or there was a flaw in the heating element. In any case returning and going back to the large pr.

Good socks that do the job.
These socks are great, but I did have some problems starting off. When I first bought them and they came in I sadly got a bad battery and charger but Amazon being amazing sent me a new pair that work great. I personally am a hunter and my feet are the first thing that get cold but with these they warm me up so I can stay out longer. So all in all great socks I recommend them, just had some problems in the beginning.

So disappointed - utter crap
I had high hopes for these electric socks. I mean, electric blankets have been around forever, right? So maybe, just maybe these would work. Sadly, they are utter crap. When they arrived, they didn't look too bad. I was concerned about how much of the sock would have a heated area, but I figured, even a relatively small area might be helpful. I got some fresh AA batteries and loaded up the battery compartments. (There is a little pocket near the top outer side of each sock. There is a wire inside each of these that connects to the battery box.)I felt just the faintest bit of warmth from one sock and nothing from the other. I put them on and honestly could not tell a difference between the non-working side and the one that was faintly warm. I thought perhaps they needed more time to warm up, so I continued wearing them hoping that would happen. I was busy working and after a couple of hours realized that they had never warmed up. So I decided to check the batteries, 'just in case,' they weren't fully charged. When I checked them on my battery tester, all four were completely dead even though I had gotten them from my fresh supply. I wondered if they could possibly have been bad to begin with, though that seemed highly unlikely. Then I wondered if the box had somehow drained the batteries.Still holding out a tiny bit of hope the socks would warm, I got out more batteries. This time I checked them with my battery tester first, to make sure they were fully charged. They were. Again I felt the tiniest bit of warmth and thought, "Great! I guess the last batch of batteries were no good."Put them on and again, could not feel the warmth. I later checked the fully charged batteries and .. you guessed it, they were drained. So not only did the stupid socks not work, they somehow drained EIGHT AA batteries!! What a waste of time and money. Needless to say, I want to send these back. It's really a shame because a lot of people would love to have socks like this if they would actually work. I hope the manufacturer figures out a way to make them work AND do so without having to go through dozens of batteries each week.

They warm up and work well
These have worked great so far. They are pretty comfortable and really heat up. The battery is a little bulky but you get used to it. It is inserted in a pocket at the top, but not sure if it would be an issue with ski boots, probably over the top of the boot anyway. My one minor complaint is with the charger. It takes a specific plug with a specific tip. I would have preferred a USB plug with an outlet adapter and a micro USB or USB-C tip. If you are traveling, you need to bring the plug with you rather than use a cable that works with multiple devices. And it needs to plug into the wall instead of a car USB or a battery pack.

Electric Heated Socks - Buy Them!
While others are comfortable, I am cold. When my daughter told me about heated socks I laughed, but the joke was on me. She sent them to me for Mother’s Day and they are AMAZING! The little batteries are tucked in the pocket so they are not in the way. They deliver just the right amount of heat to warm and not burn. I like that they are a fun color and not a plain black, blue or grey. I really love these socks!

Warm toes!
The socks are quite warm, though the warmth is centered around the toes. If you're like me and your toes get cold in boots, these are for you. Something I missed in the instructions is you can press the lit/colored button to change the intensity of the heat. The highest (red) can be a bit too hot long-term.

Don't buy these, batteries wiring shorts out.
Socks failed to work after one wearing, one battery fails to stay charged, it just seems to short out after 2 minutes. I do not recommend purchasing these socks.

They don't work very well!
I disliked how these socks didn't really heat up.
