KichlerUniversal Fan Remote Control System in White, 337001WH

I was worried about spending this much money, and not truly knowing if it was going to work, so I was extremely happy when I inserted the batteries and it worked immediately! I highly recommend it.

I was very devastated and worried when my original remote stopped working for lighted ceiling fan. I am not able to walk so I have it above my recliner bed depend on it every day and night.my husband did a manufacture replacement search and found one costing $100.00 to unaffordable . then search Amazon and were very happily surprised to pay a very low price. I was skeptical but ordered since it was returnable. This remote was new and even exactly like ours, my husband installed it in about minutes .

This is easy to use and just like the wall unit. But it's nice to be able to change the lighting and fan speed

This is my 2nd purchase of this model of Kichler remote to control 2 separate Kichler fans. Each installation was very easy, and each remote worked as advertised. Range and reliability are good. Each remote consists of a handheld unit and a receiver that tucks up into the fan housing near the ceiling. You can control multiple fans with multiple remotes by changing switch settings in the handheld and receiver units, but you will have to buy one 337001 remote per fan controlled. You can also control multiple fans using one handheld, but again, you have to buy one 337001 for each fan controlled because to get the receiver you need the 337001 kit. I have 2 receivers installed in outdoor Kichler fans on my porch and, I control both simultaneously with one handheld. I have 3rd Kichler fan being controlled by another model of Kichler remote, and by changing switch settings, they do not interfere with each other. I have used this remote only with Kichler fans, but they would work fine with a variety of fans. By looking at the design, this appears to be made by the same manufacturer who makes remotes that carry other brands. Some of the non-Kichler versions of the remote are cheaper.

We bought a house with a Kichler fan that had a missing remote. This product simply worked out of the box. I didn’t even have to install the fan module. The remote worked as-is. No configuration needed!

Very convenient way to control our new ceiling fan in our master bedroom. Also solved a problem we've had since we bought this house 2 years ago -- the light switch for the bedroom was on the right side of the door as you enter the room, not on the left where you would expect it to be (and where it was in our last house). We mounted this on the left side, and just keep the light switch on the right side "on."My only complaint is the light control -- sometimes it doesn't work right. It is a dimmer switch, so maybe I just haven't got the hang of it yet (we only installed it 4 days ago).Update March 2018: This remote lasted less than two years of daily use. Down-grading to 3 stars because I think it should have lasted longer than that. Of course, it's out of warranty now!

I have 5 ceiling fans in my home and each one of them is matched with a Kicher Lighting Universal Hand=Held. When one wears out (and that takes a long time unless of course you abuse it) I head right on back to Kicher Light and purchase another one....pronto.It is simple to use and you have the light button in the middle (a green color) and the other 4 buttons are for the fan. One for off, low, medium and high. Anyone can use one of these fan/lighting controls regarless of wehther you are a child above the age of reason or like my mother....95 years old.I hightly recommend this hand held Kicher Lighting control....you will not be disappointed.

this remote is really universal ..only have to change switch inside near battery and it replace my old defective remotewithout opening my ceiling fan to put the controler in ....it work on the old one all fan speeds and light and dimmer too....completely satisfied ...and the fluorescent light switch is a good add on (my old one doesn`t have it )excellent produit ...pour ceux qui veulent un remplacement de son remote ...ce remote est vraiment universel ...on a qu`a changer les interupteurs a l`interieur pres de la batterie ..tout fonctione vitesses lumiere et attenuateurde plus le bouton lumiere est luminescent et tres pratique quand il fait noir pour allumer la lumiere ..(mon autre remote n`avais pas cette possibilité )..on a plus besoin de tatonner pour trouver le bon bouton lumiere eteinte ..
