Simple Joys by Carter's Baby Hat and Mitten Set

This beanie and mitten set kept my toddler warm and styling. The beanie is fleece lined for added warmth. I did have to stretch out the hat a bit because it fit pretty snug on her head. My daughter looked so darn cute in this set.

I love this hat, it is fleece lined and fits great. I just wanted to note that I bought the 2t-5t size for my 18 month old. This hat runs very small and probably will not fit him again next year. It is not the average Carters size.

Not what I would expect from Carters but then I noticed it was the cheaper, simple Joy's line that they sell at Walmart. The hat says 12-24 months but didn't fit my 15 month old at all, couldn't even squeeze it over his head and the mittens are the same size and way too big, more like 4 or 5 year old size.

Overall, we liked this set. The material is not super thick, but that works fine for us. The only issue was the sizing. The mittens were too big for our 16 month old (they don't fall off but there's a lot of extra fabric around the fingers, making it hard to grab anything), and yet the hat was rather tight. Our LO is on the 10th and 20th percentile for height and head size, respectively, so we were surprised that the proportions on this set were so far off. Our LO will likely be able to wear the mittens again next winter.

This hat is definitely not for 2t-5t kid. It barely fit my 3 and half year old. Unless it shrunk that much just from washing, I think they need to relabeled this not for 2t only. I wish I could return this item but already wash it and worn it for the day

Bought this for "coming soon" great nephew to match a blanket I'm making him that has Northwoods animals (moose and bears) with the red/black buffalo plaid and it will be backed with a red/black plaid fleece - this little set is a perfect match for it!

Love this Carter's Fairisle hat and mitten set...it is adorable yet trendy and oh so warm and the bonus, it matches beautifully with the orange Oshkosh coat I just purchased. My little one is 16 months and wears 12 to 18 miss in clothes and the 12-24 most hat is a tad on the big side but gives him room to grow plus I think if the hat is too tight he is less likely to keep it on. I am so glad I was able to find this. PS...the tassles don't look like pigtails :)

The set was very cute, but the hat only sat on my baby's head. The hat was too big and there was no velcro or elastic to keep it on securely. The mittens were okay, but a little on the snug side. I returned this adorable set disappointed.

My son just turned one and unfortunately the hat 1-2 sits like a pea on a mountain. Far too small :-(

This set is super cute. After reading different reviews about the sizing being so small I ordered the 2T-5T for my 1 year old, and will be wearing it this winter and MAYBE get use of it next year if were lucky.
