I was leery about using this product for a quick upgrade to recess lighting throughout the house, but to my surprise they look like i replaced the fixture. They fit completely over the rim of the fixture and was extremely easy to install.

These were a perfect way to update old existing can lights. Gives a whole new look. It took 30 of them to update the whole house, but well worth it. Good quality and installing was as easy as taking the old ones down.

Bought these to add some pizzazz to the plain white recessed cans in the various ceiling lights in our home. Gotta say, these were pretty easy to install inside the original cans (once you get the hang of it) and now our ceiling lights stand out and look pretty snazzy. Only thing I wish could have been different is that these would have been available in brushed nickel, so as to match exactly with the rest of the metal features in our home. But oh well, the satin nickel looks good and I'm probably the only one who notices the difference. One FYI: after installation, the light socket will be ~1.5" higher up in the ceiling, resulting in less light coming out of the can. This bugged me (a lot) so I bought some socket extenders to bring the sockets back down to roughly their original level. With the extenders installed, we now have the original light spread below the light fixtures, resulting in a much brighter room. I'd recommend getting socket extenders if you find you don't like the reduced lighting these baffles cause after installation.

I have standard 6 in ceiling cans. I am no sure about the brand, but they have used Juno baffles before and everything was well. I’ve bought these trims as a replacement and upgrade. Unfortunately, they do not lay flat on the ceiling - there is about 1/4 in gap between the ring and the ceiling. The reason for the gap is a high internal rim on the ring that hits against the metal can. Both the rim and the can housing are exactly 6 in in diameter and since the can is flat with the ceiling, the ring is forced outside. Either the ring should have no rim, or the rim should be smaller to fit inside the can.

Really like the ease of installation. The color is perfect. I need four more, but in bronze/brass so may consider this brand again.
