Saw these online and thought about my time as a child, when grandma had a candy dish or a purse full of these things at all times (no clue how she found these before Amazon). The hard candy outside with the hint of strawberry flavoring and then the sudden "gush" of flavor from the inside when you got far enough in was memorable growing up. Fast forward a few decades...and a lucky Amazon suggested purchase and I'm back in my daydreams to times long past. Same great flavor, same great "gush" of flavor from the inside. Now without the pinched cheeks from grandma for having too many candies in the day.

We use the wrapper image to know we are getting the good version of this candy. Sadly the wrapper art has changed.We tried one and it still has the good insides.

I was craving some old-school strawberry bon-bon hard candy. You would think all brands are the same, but that is not the case. Some are tasteless, some have very little gel filling, and some are just gross. The Arcor brand is the "just right" Goldilocks version though! They are fresh and have a good strawberry flavor all the way through the filling. Love that they are available in the 2-lb bag so I can share at work. Highly recommend!
