Q&A a Day for Me

I bought this for my 11 almost 12 year old daughter. She seemed to young for the kids one I bought for my son. I did read the reviews before purchasing. My husband and I try to keep communication very open with our daughter. So far it's been a great journal! I have come across a drinking question and she answered it honestly. I explained to her some questions she may not want to answer or even think about and we decided that we could make up another question if it came to that. I saw some people were very upset about certain questions in this book. I suppose it's a personal preference and I'm very open with my kids. I would repurchase this book again!

I originally purchased this for my 12 year old daughter for her birthday. She spent so much time using it, I decided I was going to buy myself one. I have learned so much about myself, things I never realized before. I am really excited about having the chance to go back and compare my answers over the course of 3 years. After a friend's 13 year old daughter started struggling with many life milestones, I ordered her one as well. If you are like me and want so badly to have a place to safely and openly jot down my daily thoughts and feelings. Sometimes I find that I have a hard time finding the right words and where to start in a regular journal. This journal gives you daily prompts and always seems to guide you to tackle the tough things! I love it!!!

My 13-year-old really does not like to write. She gets overwhelmed by the idea of having to write long, sustained pieces (like essays or stories). This journal gets her into the habit of (almost) daily writing, and is not intimidating. I really appreciate the daily questions/prompts, because it gets her thinking and is an answer to her complaint of "I don't know what to write." Highly recommend if you have a teen or tween with writing phobia, learning differences, etc. A good antidote in this age of texting, screen time, and other short-attention-span distractions.

It's really nice, but while flipping through, we noticed that a lot of the questions are a bit negative. For instance, "Who has it out for you?" We had to flip through about over a dozen questions until we found "What made you smile today?". Maybe it was just a coincidence that the pages we landed on the negative ones, and perhaps it's good for teens to be able to have a place to express their feelings on such things. We were just a little surprised.

Arrived today and when I flipped through the pages and I smiled huge. The colors are beautiful. It's somewhat girly , design wise, and I love it. I like that it starts from Jan, without any dates/numbers. Plus it arrived super fast. I really liked the yellow color. Love love love the design/colors. Can't wait to start using it. I am 18. Not sure if it is good for 13 year olds though.

My daughter and I decided to take 15-20 minutes a day to journal together, it became clear very quickly that we would have some difficulty with topics. (She referenced a friend who hated a particular class bc of another student who was teasing her... which lead into my question of, “is it teasing or is it bullying?” Which was met with an eye roll and shut down....) These one a day questions are simple but lead to really great conversations with my tween and allow her and I to connect without me feeling like an L7

Absolutely not appropriate for my 13 year old. We have this book for kids from the same author and love it so thought this would be fun now that we have a teen… just glancing through pages and I saw enough. Parents pay attention.

Such a thought inspiring book. It’s a very easy and creative way for a teenager to journal. It’s a great book for the teen who wants to journal but doesn’t have time. It only takes a moment to answer the question before bed. The cover is sturdy and the pages have a decent thickness to them. My daughter keeps it by her bed and she likes how if she forgets it only takes a few minutes longer to answer more questions when she does find the time. Excellent journal :)

Q&A è uno speciale diario, indirizzato agli adolescenti, dove in ogni pagina viene posta una domanda a cui si risponde per tre volte, essendo la pagina divisa in tre parti, in tre anni diversi. In questo modo, le domande, che vanno dalle quelle più banali ad altre più serie ed intime, daranno tre versioni differenti, essendo state poste in tre momenti diversi della vita del possessore del diario. E' un'idea molto intelligente ed utile, secondo me, specialmente per gli adolescenti, che sono in continua evoluzione. Penso che anche passato qualche anno sia una lettura utile e simpatica. Comunque, l'ho regalato a mia figlia e le è piaciuto talmente tanto che l'ha voluto regalare anche alla sua migliore amica. La consegna di Amazon è stata come sempre precisa ed accurata.

3 year journal is an amazing idea. Questions are very interesting and colourful pages to keep up the interest of writing. This journal has a cover that is not very hard enough. That's why one star less.

This journal is a great gift idea for teenagers or 13 year olds. It has three questions for each day and you answer them over the course of 3 years. This is a lovely, personal keepsake for teenagers to cherish as they get older. Great idea!

I found that this was an amazing gift for my 14 year old because it is so simple yet something of her own that she extremely enjoys answering daily and I'm sure she will love it in 3 years too, because it's so versatile. She received lots for Christmas yet this was one of her top favourites. 100% recommend :)
