2nd time to order
These are great! Lost my first pair, but I had wore them out anyway. So ordered the same ones again. Really work well when you need to the readers and your outside in the sun.

Good for Golfing with GPS watch.
I'm going to start wearing a GPS watch for golfing. My eyesight has deteriorated so much that I can't read the watch face anymore without glasses. I came across several bifocal sunglasses and decided on this one. They fit me perfectly, are very, very light, and won't slip or move as I twist my head during a swing. This was important to me if I was going to wear sunglasses while playing golf. The bifocal lenses are very low profile, which again is important for golfing. I didn't want the bifocal lens to intrude too much on my normal field of view. I got the +2.00 and can read the watch now so it does it's job. I don't think you could read a book but for what I want they are just fine. The plastic frames seem rather fragile and probably won't hold up unless you are very gentle with them. I wouldn't, for example, raise them up on the top of my hat like I have a tendency to do with other glasses. It came with a very nice and sturdy hard case. That will help. The color of the case is a horrible orange. I guess that's the trademark of the company. I can live with that but it would be so much nicer with a muted or black color. I gave it 4 stars because of the impression I have of the plastic frames. Time will tell if they hold up. If they break I'll give an update.

bifocal sunglasses
I missed the part that said these were "bifocals" and not full lens correction. So I am disappointed. I will keep them, but probably pass them to my husband. I use the full lens for when I am not wearing my contacts, so it matters to me. The glasses themselves seem pretty good quality... there are rubber tips on the area that rests over the ears for comfort... I have an average size head and they fit nicely, not loose, but they would "stretch" to fit a larger size head... but they are not hinged. The actual bifocal area is quite small. You need to be looking way down. The lens are a medium gray/black and have a sticker that says UV400 on them. Also note that the word "Aloha" is on the top left lens in script - in case that matters to you. They come with a large, black hard case with an orange zipper and a cleaning cloth... a nice plus. I always update with any issues or other useful info.

Best bi-focal sunglasses for hiking!
I do a lot of backpacking and hiking. Taking my $300 prescription bi-focal sunglasses could end up costly.I purchased a pair of 1.50 a couple of years back and wore them out.As time goes on, my need for stronger bi-focal were apparent but I only use Aloha Eyewear.Just received my new pair and loving them! You cannot go wrong with Aloha Eyewear!Highly recommend...

I found these TERRIFIC glasses after my eye doctor wanted to sell me ...
I was not paid or offered anything for this review. I found these TERRIFIC glasses after my eye doctor wanted to sell me a pair of Maui Jim Ho'okipa Bifocal Sun Reader Designer Reading Glasses for $372 (yes, what a ripoff but I am in the Caribbean - they retail on Amazon for $229.00). He said my eyes are sun damaged. At this great price, I took a chance on buying these knockoffs tortoise shell-style pair for my husband who needed a different reader and he loves his. But my primary purpose was for myself. I also took another chance and bought the grey/black ones even though I am a woman (without a big head) and these are men's sunglasses because price and value for money was essential to me. Both pairs fit each of us perfectly, protect my eyes & I can read in them if necessary. My husband couldn't believe he could read in his. They each came with a case (his was a tad nicer). I give these glasses my highest recommendation considering how often we lose sunglasses and the fact that I am VERY pleased with them. They are fit for purpose, large field of view and comfortable. I also researched another knockoff of the Maui Jim's - "Maui Sun" Bifocal Sunglasses Lightweight TR-90 Frames for Men and Women 100%UV which I now see are reduced 50% off at 19.95 if you want a different style (they also got good reviews & have the same case) & I considered them, too. I am so happy I saved so much money!

So far so good.
I purchased a pair of these glasses a while back at a street fair, no idea how long ago, years maybe. They were the black frame smoke lens. I need to keep notes while outside in Florida (Land Surveyor) and I need reading glasses so these are perfect for writing while outdoors in the sun. My initial par still are fine aside from a nasty scratch I put in a lens smacking my face into a partially open car door.I decided to see if I could find another pair and was delighted to see Amazon selling them and for a reasonable price. I think I paid $35 for my initial pair, these at $25 were a no brainer, I purchased 1 pair of the blue lends black frame model and loved it. So much so, I just purchased 2 more pairs to keep in reserve.I have been wearing the new pair for 2 weeks now every day they have been problem free and seem to be exactly like my other pair I had for years so I think I found a winner here.I am not particularly hard on Sun glasses so your results may vary.
