Restricts wrist movement without being overly restrictive
I have wrist arthritis and needed a brace that wasn't as heavy and restrictive as the medical braces I have with metal staves. These braces work well. They are lightweight and though they don't hold my wrist from totally bending they offer enough support to ease pain while still allowing minimal movement. They were a little tricky getting on tight enough the first few times due to the first strap (the one the round velcro attaches to) not lying flat against my skin as I pulled the velcro strap over it. But after the first few times the strap conformed to my wrist and it got much easier. So if you can't seem to fit the brace tightly enough in the beginning and you don't have someone to help you put them on don't give up. The strap will relax and conform to your wrist so it will become easier.

I looooove this wrist support
These things are a game changer. I use them for work and the pain relief is phenomenal. The support is fantastic and they are very comfortable. They are easy to put on and adjust. The velcro never releases and the size has always been perfect. I would recommend this brand to anyone experiencing wrist pain or discomfort.

Good for very specific need
Don't buy single piece at full price. I got a set of two for a significant discount, which was competitive. If your need is for a lightweight band with just enough support at the wrist, then this is it. It allows limited turn of the wrist, which is the main purpose, but allows free use of palm/fingers without any obstruction. The way it is described in the accompanying instruction sheet, it is hard to wear tightly with one hand. If you change it to the other hand, it is much easier to secure. This leads into my last point...Buy the set of two even if you need one. Though they are symmetrical designs for left and right hands, each one can be used on either hand. You can use both on the same hand but wear is differently. Finally, you cannot tighten the end around the thumb much. The thin piece that goes around the thumb hurts it pulled tight.

Best wrist and thumb support brace
I have tried over 5 types of similar protective wrist braces and like this one the best by far. I use it when playing racquet sports (tennis, pickleball) due to the severe arthritis in my wrist. I finally had wrist surgery and now that it has fully healed, I still wear this brace every time I play racquet sports, to protect that weaker wrist and base-of-thumb joint. It is soft, pliable, wraps easily with sticking your thumb through the hole then wrapping it to close with the velcro end. It will likely fit nearly any wrist size. You can make it as tight or loose as you like. It doesn't have any metal or stiff pieces in it so you can play sports with it and it doesn't impede your movement. Yet I can feel the support it gives and it keeps me from over-flexing my wrist and re-injuring it. I also like that it is mostly flesh-toned beige and not too bulky, so it is not that noticeable (I wish it didn't have the black edging on it, but it makes it a bit more stylish). I would highly recommend it.

Might give some support, but not compression.
Frankly, these are lame. I returned immediately because I could not get in wrapped on my hand. It is super lightweight and seems soft, which is nice, but because of the wrap design, you have to be able to get it on tight enough with one hand in order for it to provide any support. It does not have any elasticity to it, so does not have compression. It might support the wrist if you can manage to wrap it on. It has an inner Velcro tab, and the one at the end. So if you manage to get the inner one in the right place, it might work. I have used several other wrist supports, but this seems to do nothing. I do have two knee sleeves from this brand and really like them, but I don’t know what they are thinking with these.

Nerve pain in wrist and hands.
Very pleased with wrist support. Read reviews about wrist support and ordered it. Glad that I did because they're really helping with the pain when sewing, knitting or crocheting. Needed these a long time ago.
