I normally don't write reviews but this product deserves it. We have very hard well water. I've tried other water filter like the kind that are in the handle of the shower head with the balls or whatever. They did nothing. A lot of other filters tout filtering chlorine which is more of an issue with city water. This filter made a huge difference with our hard water and feels like when you go to a hotel with heavy water softener. My skin already loves it! We are very impressed and the replacement filters are affordable. If you have well water I highly suggest this filter!

I may be jumping the gun here. I live in Florida, and the water we have is the most disgusting thing I have ever had. I only installed this last night. Took me 5 minutes on each shower. Only my daughter and myself have used it one time, but right away I can tell that this is working. There are 3 things I noticed instantly, and these were the major issues we were having, being the reason I ordered this.1 - Smell. Instantly I noticed the water smelled and tasted like normal water....no nasty taste or rotten egg smell.2 - Water in my eyes, and it did not sting or burn.3 - THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!!! When I got out of the shower, my skin was not dry. Every time I get out of the shower, my skin would dry up like a prune, and I would spend 10 minutes rubbing my back on the door frame to scratch my back. Also, I would have to apply a lot of lotion to my hands as they were so dry and insanely uncomfortable. After the installation, when I got out of the shower, my skin was soft. There was no itching, and I had no need for lotion on my hands.My daughters biggest complaint was that she felt like she could never get her hair clean with the water we have. After I installed this, she said she could feel the difference right away. Her hair was soft and clean feeling. She also said how she felt the difference on her skin.My biggest reason for buying this was for my baby. She has such dry skin on her back from the water, that every time we change her clothes, as soon as her clothes are off, she starts ripping at her skin. Her back looks like she was whipped from her scratching. The doctor said it is eczema and the water just makes it worse. Once the rash goes away with the medicine, I am looking forward to see how this will affect her after.I will update my review if needed, but so far this is one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon and recommend this product 100%.

They would have gotten a 5 star review but I had a problem getting a good seal and stop it from leaking!I wrapped plumbers around the bottom male part and you have to put it on in the correct direction, then t seals the filter on the bottom perfectly

TLDR: I did a ton of research and if you're concerned about this filter not matching the standards of other filters on the market, this is top of its class and competes with most filters that cost nearly double. For under 50 bucks, and cheap filter/less frequent replacements due to the pre-filter, it's an incredible value.This filter is a lot more robust than the pictures give credit for. The design is very well thought out and having a pre-filter should be way more common on shower filters (very few on Amazon have a pre-filter.) The pre-filters are priced very reasonably and the filter itself also comes in at an incredible value. I did way more research on the variations of filters and certifications for shower filters than anyone should ever have to do, but I have high confidence in the materials within the filter to filter unwanted minerals/ chemicals in shower water without lowering the pressure. I definitely can tell a difference with my reasonably chlorinated and modestly hard suburban water, so you're likely to see a difference too, especially if you have particularly bad water.The majority of the credit goes to that cotton pre filter, which dramatically increases the life of the main filter by grabbing the heaviest particles before they clog up the main filter which is doing all the chemical reversing. The only thing that I would change is for this filter to acquire it NSF certification which is typically the standard certification for shower filters and helps compare. (Especially if it qualifies for NSF 53,177, 372, and 472, which I have full confidence that it would based on certification data on the product's website.) Also, I highly recommend that the seller change the names for the replacement filter listings. They're unnecessarily confusing as to what you're buying. The listing name should be either "cotton filter" or "carbon/main filter" instead of "z replacement" which really doesn't help us customers figure out what exactly we're getting when we buy replacements. It's just a simple thing that I think they can take care of and probably will eventually

I bought this filter four months ago and the cap cracked and sprayed water all over the bathroom. I would like to contact the seller to find out if they can send me another cap and they say they give 100% customer support and to just reach out on Amazon. I can’t find a way to reach them. The filter system works real good, and makes my skin feel as if we had a tank water softener,but it doesn’t work if it’s spraying water all over the bathroom.

If I could give this product 10 stars I would. I have well water that has a nasty sulfur smell and rust. This filter removes all of that. My hair is so softer. My skin isn’t itchy anymore. Super easy to install and replace the filter.
