This mat is awesome! It looks great and is well made. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it looks. So much better than a kitchen rug made out of carpet. The reason I only gave it four stars is because it does slip around the floor, and does not stay in place. I rectified this by purchasing "aMeng Rug Grippers Non Slip Rug Pads Flatten" on Amazon. I put one of the grips on the bottom of the mat towards the top. I placed the mat back down on my hardwood floor and pressed it gently so it would stick to the floor. It hasn't moved an inch. When I mop the floor I simply lift the mat and put the mat back when floor is completely dry. I received 8 of these grips in the package, so I have enough to last a while. "When there's a will, there's a way!"

We have this mat in front of our kitchen sink. We purchased it to protect our hardwood floors from water that gets splashed out of the sink and also to feel nice under our feet. I chose this one because it was a fraction of the cost of others, so I was worried about how it would look, but I don't think it looks cheap at all. I like the woven look and it is pretty thick and well made. I took off a star because it doesn't always stay in place, but it doesn't move so much that you are slipping.

Really nice! Matches our kitchen which is kind of a brick red color.We are using ours by our sink while we wash dishes. Here's something to consider if you want to use it there: For better and worse, it doesn't absorb water or liquid. Water just sits on top. For better: you can just wipe it down to clean it and it doesn't get gross like other rugs. For worse: Easier to slip on it because water just sits on top.Obviously this won't be a problem if you aren't using it right under the sink.

I was looking forward to using this mat in my new kitchen, and when I finally opened it, I was disappointed. Mine had a couple of small black spots, which I could live with since it would be on the floor anyway. The finish seems kind of a cheap plastic-y quality, (at least not what I was expecting) although it appeared well made enough. The color was accurate, a nice deep red. My main complaint was that it advertises non-skid, and it certainly was NOT! I have tile floors and it moved all around all the time. I assume you could use carpet tape to hold it in place, but I don't want to do that, as then it's a pain to clean under unless you never move it. In a kitchen you would need to get beneath any rugs. Anyhow it is not a good value for the price ($25.00 + tax!) and I have recently returned this item.

I purchased two of these one for in front of the stove and one for in front of the sink. They are pretty thick and really help a lot when standing in those two areas for a while. My only complaint is that they are not heavy enough to stay where you put them they move around very easily.

These are super comfy and clean up pretty easily. They are a brighter red but fit with out kitchen nicely. I do wish they didn't slide on the tile as much though, I find myself moving them a lot.

I always hestitate to buy something I can't test out myself, but since I wasn't having any luck finding a red mat for the kitchen, I decided to give it a go. I am so glad I did! We bought two (one for the sink and one for the stove). It has a vinyl like feel, which is easy to wipe up. The little pattern keeps it from being too bland, and it add the pop we need for our stainless steel kitchen!

I got a pair of these— one for my kitchen sink, and one for my oven. Both have been really useful with their padding if I need to stand for prolonged amount of time. The slightly woven design is simple and elegant, and also easy to clean up should spills occur. Really practical for kitchen use.

Exactly as expected and very well packaged.
