Sept 5, 2017 update:I've worn these for a few months now and they're holding up really well. They're mad dirty, obviously, but a little scrubbing with clean them up. They've kept all kinds of nasty gunk (raw chicken, spilled milk, bean juice you name it) on the shoe and not my socks. The water resistant material is fantastic for washing dishes, too. Not using the shoe to wash them, but to stay dry in the dish pit.That being said... The shoes never stretched as much as I thought they would. I think I would have opted for another size bigger just because my feet are wide enough.There than that they have held up wonderfully for 50 hour weeks of just pure running around a restaurant and the frequent being work out around the town because they look like regular shoes. My feet do hurt a little but but I need to buy new insoles for my lack of arches.------So first off, this shoe runs a tad small, but I also have wide feet. I tend to wear an 8 or 8 1/2 but I purchased a 9 and it was perfect. It was a little snug when I first put it on, but not uncomfortable. Because it is fabric, it stretched out while I wore it at work.I worked a double today, and when I took my break, I went home to pick up these shoes and wear them for the remainder of my day. They were amazing! I was walking over freshly mopped floors and through oily floors in the back like it was nothing. I'm pretty sure that you can stand on any slippery surface short of a porno set using a 55 gallon drum of lube. It's like god himself made these cool looking shoes and they're even comfortable! I'm going to replace the insoles eventually, but I bought them for non-slip, not the insoles. I even made sure I was purchasing shoes that had a removable one. Based on others review of this brand, they should last about 8 months so here's to hoping! I'll be buying them again in the future for sure.

Usually when I am standing, walking or jogging in a pair of shoes for a long time, I like to get them half a size bigger for comfort. After reading the reviews and people suggesting to go half a size up than your normal size I decided to go up a full size on these shoes. I am a size 8 so I ordered a size 9 and they fit perfect. They actually fit like a wide size 8 with little room for comfort. I am very pleased with this purchase and have gotten many compliments on my shoes. I purchased the red canvas and they look just like the picture. I work in a Healthcare Center as a Dietitian in training and these shoes meet the shoes safety standards to wear in a kitchen. They are oil/slip resistant. The canvas is also water resistant. I have dropped many stuff on them and it comes right off. Very easy to clean. I did notice it started to hurt my foot on the part where it bends but after adjusting the shoe lace for a more tight fit it actualy worked and it stopped hurting. I recommend going up a full size for comfort like I did, and there wasn't any problems with breaking the shoe in since it was already a comfortable fit. The shoes also have a little extra room for me to add insoles. These shoes definitely beat wearing the big bulky slip resistant shoes. I like to also wear them just as regular shoes outside of work since they are very stylish.

I was trying to get away with wearing Vans to work for months but my feet would always be dead after shifts and I eventually started getting some back pain too. My boyfriend ordered a pair of Mozo's in a similar style for men and we both thought they looked pretty cool for a work shoe, and after a week at work he confirmed that they were pretty comfortable too. I went ahead and ordered a pair for myself and went half a size larger than my usual size. They fit great and I liked that they were slip on but still came with laces. The non-slip bottoms are also nice because I don't have to tip toe around on the wet floors when coworkers mop at the end of the night like my Vans. I think I will put in some arch support insoles eventually but my feet feel significantly better at the end of shifts compared to before. The last thing is that the style is pretty cool compared to other bulky work shoes and you can actually get away with wearing them with skinny jeans.

These shoes look really cool and the enbroidered spatula ans knife on the sides also looks great. I love that the shoe fits as expected and is not the narrow type that has your foot feeling like its wrapped tightly in rough gauze... but, they did end up irritating the backs of my feet :( they are also still a bit stiff and need more usage to maybe feel a little more comfortable, including that maybe eventually they wont scrape the skin above my heel. Overall though these are good shoes for the price and really do feel like you wont slip in a kitchen setting (which is what theyre meant for and where I work).Almost forgot to mention that these shoes are so fitted that its hard to get my foot in them because they dont open up at the front like other shoes. They just have a small elastic band.

I work in a restaurant where the kitchen floor is frequently slick. These shoes have a good grip that keep me from skating all over the kitchen. They are comfortable and aren't terrible looking like a lot of restaurant shoes. The shoes can be worn with or without laces. The laces are just for looks, and make no real difference to the fit of the shoe. I wear them with the laces just because the black and white shoes look weird without the laces. The only issues I have so far is that the right shoe is a little tighter than the left, but that could just be my feet.Update 4/21/15Six months later, and these shoes are great. The original tightness across the top of the shoes, especially of the right shoe, disappeared after a couple of weeks. I'm on my feet for 10-11 hours a day 5-6 days a week, and my feet don't hurt at all. They are the best work shoes I have ever owned. I've washed them in the washing machine a few times with no problems, other than that they look a little faded now. I actually like that, though.

Awesome work shoes for my cafe job. I have narrow feet and the fit perfectly but I could see them running small for some. After about a week of breaking them in they are insanely comfortable. I can be one my feet for a full 8 hour shift and my feet are hardly sore. The non slip work well too. I really have to try to slip on them.

Perfect fit. A little stiff on the back of the ankle but its a cute pair of shoes.

As a chef never heard of these before. However I will be ordering a second pair
