I absolutely love the Gundam Barbatos design and this kit captures it so well for a good price, it's an easy and fun build with very few runners but it has a lot of details, and the articulation is amazing which is always great for model kits. Awesome kit, very cool Gundam and I absolutely recommend to anyone who hasn't built it yet.

Easily one of my favorite gundams, it was a fun build. The detail and color separation was there, a good 5 inch model kit. It holds well. Just be a little careful with his sword but otherwise great product

A friend introduced me into these models as he has two Master Grades he did a while back. I’m an Engineer, and grew up watching Toonami so I was familiar with some of the Gundam series. I bought three different Gundam models ( Entry Grade RX-78-2, High Grade Blazing Gundam and this High Grade Barbatos Lupus) for around $60. Overall, I enjoyed all three with the Barbatos Lupus and Blazing Gundam being my favorite as the detail is very good. For first timers these models are all very easy as the detailed steps and instructions are easy to follow. There are some details in the instructions that take a minute to confirm how the part is oriented before assembling. Being a HG Gundam these models only stand around 5-1/2” (14cm) tall. Also, some of the fitment of the parts are not as tight as I would have hoped making some of the joints prone to easy movement or removal. Overall, the price and detail of the model was very good and give it 4 stars.

The media could not be loaded. Despite being an HG, the details are incredible, the variety of joints allows you to make a wide variety of poses.

This model shipped to me in about a week, the plastic is fairly rigid and flexible but still soft as i broke a tab during building (extra thin cement for the win). The decals that go on are fairly forgiving on skin but stick well once applied firmly to the model. The runners were easy to cut and remove the parts with a sharp set of flush cutters. This kit is fairly easy to put together with a decent amout of detail, nothing compared to an MG barbatos kit. Barbatos is my favorite gundam and will be panel lining when it finally comes in.Update: I recieved my panel liner and have lined it and used the MG barbatos decal sheet to add even more detail to it. It really makes it pop with the more defined lines and extra eye catching aspects.

These models are awesome. No need for glue because they snap together. No need for paints because they are made of different color plastic and have a few stickers.My 10 year old put it together and has been plying with it dinr he got it. He loves these models, I do too! They are beautifully designed and mostly articulated. My only negative is that some of the weapons may be a bit delicate snd prone to break when played with. You can also hot glue the broken weapon piece together, so, that’s not too bad.My son has put a bunch of these in my cart….lol.

I've seen a lot of reviews talking about how the chest falls apart. Had to really work to get the chest apart. I'm assuming it only does that if you don't get the polycaps on right that the arms connect to. That said, like most IBO kits, the torso isn't super attached to the waist. I've had that break apart a lot. Also the arms fall off if you try to post them any way that's slightly out of place.That said though, it's an incredibly good looking kit that I'd recommend to anyone. Use some gold and silver gundam markers and panel line it and the details will really pop.
