Great Space-Saver for CD, DVD, and BD Storage
Very best way I have found to store CDs, DVDs and BluRay discs in the least amount of space. I have put the discs, liner notes, and jewel box liners when useful into Case Logic double sided ProSleeves (disc in front side, notes in back) and gotten rid of the jewel boxes. I have the music stored as mp3s on my computer and most of the movies stored in the cloud, but couldn't bring myself to get rid of the discs yet. If I need the discs, they are easily accessible, stored in alphabetical order by artist name or movie title, with sections separated by Vaultz A-Z file guides. The media storage boxes are stored out of the way on a basement storage shelf, not taking up more valuable real estate on family room book shelves. Using this method, with one disc and notes per sleeve, one loaded media storage box holds about 465 discs with notes and weighs about 34 lb for CDs, less for movies, which have less notes. Linear feet of shelf space replaced is about 23 ft for DVDs, 18-1/2 ft for BDs, and 15-1/2 ft for CDs.

Perfect for media storage!!
Holds a good mix of all my CD's and DVD's from the 90's for storage. I had them all in a cardboard box that was getting more and more ripped with moving them. I actually forgot I had them because I didn't know they were just in a box. This is perfect because it's actually made me listen to some of the old 90s music because it's easier to flip it open!I'm buying another one for the rest of my VHS tapes, as you can see this will fit plenty of those too.I'm trying to get everything in my basement that is stored into plastic containers and get rid of any cardboard I can.

A good storage box for a large collection of CDs and DVDs,
I bought one of these boxes at a local office supply store a couple of years ago, to use for storing reference copies of CD recordings of church services at our church. The box was nearly full, and I went back to the store to get another, and they no longer carry them. Amazon.com to the rescue! These boxes work well for us for storing CDs. The lid seems slightly awkward to use, but it is ok. It is hinged in the middle, and can open from either end. The middle part of the lid, at the hinge, is not fastened to the box. That makes it easy to get to a CD back behind the hinge, but makes the lid somewhat floppy. The box has three dividers that separates three rows of CDs or DVDs. There are also moveable dividers that can be inserted in each row. These dividers are useful to separate different categories of CDs, and are also useful for keeping the CDs from sliding forward or backward in a row that is not full.A box holds a lot of CDs or DVDs. The exact number depends, of course, on what size of box or sleeve that you use for holding the CDs, whether they are regular crystal boxes, slim boxes, or paper sleeves. There are three rows, and each is about 18 inches long. You can figure it out if you know how thick your CD boxes are.

Nice storage solution for all sorts of stuff
Nice, quality, affordable storage box!The lids are nice, and you can open half or the entire thing. The box is divided into three rows of equal width and comes with a handful of dividers (I think 3) that you can move/remove to your heart's content. The lid and handles/snaps seem like they're well-made and should hold up to normal wear and tear. Smells like plastic, but not too plastic-y.I bought two of these to store small pieces for game pieces (slightly smaller than a cubic inch and bigger). My only qualm (and not a true product fault, since I'm using them for a purpose other than the intended) is that the dividers do not go all the way to the lid. To prevent the game pieces from bouncing into other compartments, I cut manila folders in half and placed them over each divider.

Nice. Size Large.
I really liked these. Bought a size large. They look really nice. I used 2 for all my dvds. It is square shaped. I realized that may not be best for staking on a shelf in my closet. The medium is probably better for staking on a shelf. I ended up putting them under my bed instead. It’s separated by 3 compartments. Comes with 3 dividers. I only used dvds so i put one in the middle of each row.

Perfect for storing CDs
While all my music has been digital for a long time, I still have a large CD collection I just can’t bring myself to part with. I had been storing them in a standard tote box, but they just didn’t fit nicely & it was very unorganized. These boxes are great. They’re the same material as any other tote, but they are perfect for CDs. They’re exactly what I was looking for.

Surpassed my expectations.
So I had several "albums" containing music CDs and CD-Roms that I wanted to consolidate and organize. The trick was finding a container made for this exact purpose. A quick search turned up this divided media storage box (hint: search for media instead of CD!). I'm extremely pleased with this product. The capacity was far more than I expected, so I have plenty of room left for blank CDs, Blu-Rays, etc. A great purchase.

Perfect storage for CD's in jewel cases!
I received the 3 boxes I ordered yesterday. They are PERFECT for storing my CD collection, now that I don't need access to the CD's on a daily basis (because of my iPod.)I love the dual-sided lids - very convenient. For their intended use they don't need to be waterproof, but I think it's important to note that the design of the lids makes them vulnerable to moisture if not stored properly. Don't store them on the basement floor or in a outdoor shed or something. They stack very well.Other reviewers have said that the boxes are a little flimsy, but I disagree. Yes, once they are full you can't pick them up with one hand and expect it to be totally secure. But they are heavy once loaded, so I found them to be sturdy enough for my purposes. They'll just be stacked in a closet anyway.**The only small issue was that one of the gray "snap on" buckles/handles was missing from one of the 3 boxes. This morning I called the 800# that the seller (USP Home) provided on the packing slip. I was told that they can't simply send me the missing handle, so they are sending me another box at no charge. Which is great. I'll still have one box with a missing handle, but I'll have an extra box for my DVD's now!Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.
