Easy to install, fun for the kids
We found this pretty easy to install and so far (we've had it for two weeks) the kids are enjoying it. They bounce on it a lot and it seems to be holding up fine. The guide line is pretty necessary for them to move around on it but the older one (who is 8) has started to let go for short stretches and try to balance. The four year old is able to move back and forth and we put it low enough so neither of them are scared to take some risks and fall off.

Love this slack line! Excellent quality product!
Ordered the product for my two kids who are having so much fun using it! The product comes with everything that is required to slackline, so we had no problem installing it, very easy to use, super useful instructions and simple to follow. I did a lot of research before purchasing it and really appreciated that this kit had everything we needed and more, so it was a great buy. Totally recommend for kids (and not only!), it's a wonderful product.

Complete slackline kit for beginners
I've tried slacklining in the past, and it hasn't gone well. I'm just not that coordinated I guess. I thought I'd give it another shot with this beginners kit because it include a balance line and a piece of rope you hold on to which helps teach balance and was very helpful for me and the kids when learning how to use it. I only used one of the balance lines, and it was fine. The main line itself is 2 inches thick and very strong, it can easily hold an adult. As long as the trees are secure, the line will stay up.The kit comes with tree protectors, which is a nice feature, especially if the trees you use have soft bark, as some slacklines will cut into certain types of trees. Kit goes up and comes down fast, if you have 2 trees near each other in your backyard, it's perfect. You can leave it up in nice weather but I wouldn't leave it up all the time because the rope will probably degrade from bright sun or harsh weather like snow and rain. It's been over a week now of practicing and I'll be honest, I'm still not very good at it. I will keep practicing. I can do it easily with the yellow rope but I can't do it by myself, just for a few steps and I fall. It's a good goal to have and I will keep working at it. The kit overall is all good quality and everyone has really been having a lot of fun with it. Good product, and it gets the kids out of the house once in a while for some exercise which is the best thing.

Not a great fit for us
This might work better for someone who has two trees of the exact right size, very far apart, and with nothing but flat grass in between them. In my yard, one of the trees was too big for the tree protectors to fit, many of the trees were too slender to bear the tension, and one "just right" tree from a size perspective was positioned such that the path between it and the "too big" tree would take the slack line right over a concrete patio. We had originally thought we'd be able to have this slack line go between the "just right" tree and our climbing gym in the yard -- but even though the climbing gym is strong enough to handle multiple adults on it at once, it could not handle the sideways tension of the slackline.Even if we'd had perfect trees perfectly situated, however, there would have been some challenges with this kit. Compared to other slacklines I've used, the ratcheting part is quite a ways out along the line, rather than being close to the anchor on one tree. This means that walking the slackline involves walking over the ratchet, it means that the balance of the line changes because there's heavy metal in one spot, and I also found that it made the line take longer to set up and take down than others I've used before.

Pretty cool. But definitely not mastered overnight.
So to be fair, I'm not quite sure what I expected. I got this for Christmas hoping that it'd be something the kids could quickly learn to do by themselves so I wouldn't have to push them on the swing or pretend I'm interested in playing another very obvious game of hide-and-seek. I thought it'd be like walking on a balance beam, which my 4.5 year old can already somewhat do. Unfortunately, I quickly realized that wasn't going to be the case with my kiddos. That said, I think with time they'll really enjoy being able to do it on their own, and I personally thought it was fun and challenging. I weigh 118 pounds, and it holds me just fine. My only complaint (and I'm not sure that it's fair to complain about this because it may be an issue with all slack lines) is that I feel I will need to take it down when the weather gets nasty (read: rainy) because I'm not really sure how well the material would do against the rain/harsher elements long term.

highly recommend this!
We took this slackline camping. It is a GREAT product! The set up took a little while, but then neither of us are any good with ratchet straps. Once we had it up and going, it was great! Our kids used it A LOT while we were camping for a week and it kept them busy. Definitely would buy this product again!

Gets the kids outside!
The kids are really enjoying this and it only took my husband and me about 15-20 minutes to set it all up between our two big trees. We thought it may not be long enough but we actually had at least 10 extra feet of slack. The kids have spent hours going back and forth so far!

Enjoyable
I set this up with my 11 and 13 year old children. While it was a lot of fun, there are a couple of limitations. The included tree protection straps limit the trees you can use them with to fairly slender trees; the only appropriate trees I have in my backyard are much thicker than could use the protection, at least near the base. Also, the ratchets tend to get stuck easily.Still, all in all, my kids enjoyed the exhilarating swaying and snapping back in forth as they traversed the line. I tried it myself, although my 51 year old body isn't as supple as it once was. My daughter can zip across faster than I can, that's for sure.Materials are nice durable nylon, although the ratchet could be better made.
