Periobrite is not the first CoQ10 toothpaste I've tried. Originally I got on it thanks to Kiss My Face brand which I found in local markets. Then when they got bought out and their products vanished for awhile, I found myself realizing how much better my teeth felt using CoQ10 pastes. This became very prevalent when going without it for lengths of time during trips.I found Periobrite at a COOP market while on one of these trips and tried it. Within a matter of days my teeth felt more normal again. I've since used Periobrite for awhile till Kiss My Face came back. Honestly, I like the taste of Kiss better. Periobrite isn't bad but, it's probably the weak point of the toothpaste.However, that said, it works. Better or worse than kiss? It's about the same. I can't really tell. They just work. Kiss has more price mood swings than Periobrite so there are times when I will purchase Periobrite over Kiss. If you want a good CoQ10 toothpaste, you can't go wrong with Periobrite. If you don't care for the flavor, try Kiss. Just be sure to read the ingredients on Kiss because they are not actively marketing CoQ10 anymore for some bizarre reason. At least, not right now.

Going into the 2nd week of use and I will update later with more thoughts.I LOVE this toothpaste. It doesn't foam at all. It cleans extremely well, leaves no icky aftertaste and best of all, doesn't burn or numb my tastebuds and mouth or leave a slimy feeling behind. Actually, the real best bit is that my very picky son also likes it. He hates the foaming toothpastes, hates the tastes of everyother type of herbal or non-foaming getls and pastes I've found. This is it. Our new and forever toothpaste...until I get around to trying my hand at creating our own.Squeeze carefully (and from the bottom)!! It comes out fast. There may be darker splotches in it, but don't be concerned, that's just some of the herbal bits that have separated, it's still quite usable. It's is grey in color, doesn't have too strong of a flavor (I am sensitive to too strong 'burning' mint flavors), is very mild minty tasting.A little bit really does the job and is even better when paired with PerioBright's toothbrush, which I absolutely adore. I actually look forward to brushing with this new brush and the paste. It's no longer a chore to get through, but is now enjoyable.

I have sensitivity to certain ingredients in toothpaste, which causes the lining of my mouth to peel/roll off and my gums to be inflamed. Mint toothpastes seemed to be the worst, so I got on amazon looking for a natural, non-mint toothpaste to help with the problem.I ordered Periobrite even though it is a 'cool mint' flavor, based on the other reviews here on Amazon. I have to say, I was not expecting to be all that impressed with the product, just hoping for something that wouldn't irritate my mouth.After just one use, I was impressed at how much tarter was removed from my teeth! My teeth haven't felt that clean since that last time I had a cleaning at the dentists office. Best of all, no swelling or peeling. I've been using this toothpaste for a little over a week now, and my teeth have never been cleaner. I've even noticed that they are getting whiter, which is something even the brand name whitening toothpastes couldn't do for me before. I'm wondering if my dental hygienist will even have anything to scrape off the next time I go back!Even though it's a mint flavor, it's not nearly as strong as I was expecting. It almost has an herbal flavor to it, which was unexpected and to be honest, took a little getting used to.Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and will be staying with this product!I also recommend using Dr.Collins Perio Toothbrushes ( Dr. Collins Perio Toothbrush, (colors vary) (Pack of 3) )- they are super gentle and still manage to get in between teeth.

Great toothpaste, sulfate free good taste

I've been using Periobrite Natural Toothpaste as a replacement for Earthpaste once I learned of the potential for lead exposure in the clay that they used. I've been using natural toothpastes for about a year now and I still miss the foamy feeling, but this toothpaste does leave my mouth and teeth feeling clean even without the foam. The cool mint flavor is plenty hot for me, but doesn't burn my mouth like other brands did. As someone else had mentioned, it does turn straight to liquid once you start brushing and I've had my fair share of accidents. I've just learned to brush with my head over the sink. If you can live without the foam and the runny texture, then I recommend this toothpaste. I like it enough to keep using it.
