 This is a Snapsafe product. The security of this box is dependent upon the cheapest lock I come across when examining firearm safety products. When companies plan to add security items to their inventory, they need to consult security people to have products evaluated before deciding to sell them. Snapsafe has been marketing some of the worst firearm safety products I've ever examined, and their careless importing practices make Ruger look bad.

I bought this to transport a fire arm on air plane trips.This fully and completely meets FAA and TSA requirements.Big enough for a mid size semi auto and 2 magazines as well as a block of amo.Lots of foam. 2 keys

This is better quality than other gun boxes that I have purchased for the same price. Heavy metal. I like that fact that the inside foam on top and bottom is in 2 lairs. Is enough room for a regular size handgun amd a magizine. Getting one for my wifes car to lock up things at the beach etc. Also good for next to bed and cable lock it down to keep kids out of. Granted its not fort knox but I like it.

Face it if someone wants in they are getting in, but this is a very nice lock box. Whether it’s for a pistol or keys and wallet this fits the bill. I got it for a gun but my son will take to camp for iPad mini and wallet. My other son has used at tennis tournament to lock belongings to fence.

Came in on time and I love the metal frame of the lock box. Can't pry it open, from the attempts I've done so it seems pretty secure. I was able to fit my Security 9 both clips and my knife that's also knuckle dusters. Must buy if you plan on keeping dangerous things safe. Very snug once I placed everything inside.

You could use this at home, but I recommend something more anchored hence why I said traveling. It gets kind of snug for a full frame, sub compact / compact fits perfectly....1911 you might have some trouble unless there is a bigger size. Over all, great.

Fits perfectly under my car seat. Can hold up to two handguns ( only because I was taking one of them to the local gunsmith). Very sturdy and well made. You can always depend on a Made in American Ruger product.)

fits my sig and 2 mags perfectly.this is for home safety.I have the keys hidden, someplace else, impossible to find
