great design, very solid product and no tools needed for assembly
When I first purchased these I opened the box, saw all of the various small nuts and washers, and quickly stuffed everything back in the box before I lost anything. There they sat for a few months before I finally purchased a camper. I pulled up to the RV dealer expecting them to assemble everything and make sure that the camper was secure but, no. They were worthless and refused to do anything for liability reasons. So there I was, 200 miles from home, with 4 unassembled turnbuckles, a truck camper that needed to get secured to the truck, no tools and no idea what I was doing.I could kiss whoever designed these as they are a super sturdy product that, with a little ingenuity, can be assembled without any tools!Insert the threaded rod into the upper portion of the turnbuckle, open the handle and start the square nut, then the rubber washer, then the Nyloc nut. Hook the lower end of the threaded rod into the frame-mounted end of the tiedown, close the handle on the upper portion to pinch the Nyloc nut in place, and twist. For my camper/truck combo I've found that, while the handle is closed, the bottom end of the hook needs to just graze the upper edge of the tiedown to be at the correct tension once properly secured.

Expensive but worth it.
Very fast and easy. Work great. Need to buy locks. Easy to be stolen otherwise.

You get what you pay for
OK. They aren't giving these away. But they are, plain and simple, the best on the market. They are easy on and off. And for those of you with a turnbuckle that blocks access to the gas tank, you will be pleased with this "feature".Will my gas tank get blocked by the turnbuckle ? How the heck do I know? But if it is, you will be happy you bought these. If you take the time to read (and at this price point, research is recommended).....you will notice they are sold in pairs. Now here is where my expertise comes into play. Yes. You will need Four turnbuckles.2 pairs = 4 turnbuckles = $$big bucks = You get what you pay for.

Good investment
Holy mackerel...I was pleasantly surprised how easy this is to set up and what a pleasure it is to operated over turnbuckles that need to be rotated by hand. Shipping was fast. A quality product. Pricey, but will save many hours loading and unloading the truck camper over the up coming years. Also will save frustrations on just how tight to adjust the old turnbuckles. Once you set up these fast guns, they will remain in the same position every time you use them. If adjustments are required due to slight movement of truck camper, you need only to release handle and easily rotated hook bolt. Great produce. If I can find another barrel of cash in the basement, I will gladly purchase a set of fast guns for the rear of my TC.

Works as advertised.
The product worked as expected. Makes securing and unsecuring my camper easier and much faster.

Beware. Set only includes 2 turnbuckles
Beware...these are nice turnbuckkes, but WAY ovetpriced. The listing doesn't say how many are included. Since 4 are required for a camper, at the price of $240. It's easy to assume that the set includes all four. Well, it doesn't. It only includes 2! So, a complete set of four is going to set you back $500. That's absurd!!!!Lippert turnbuckles, by comparison, which are similar to Torklift, are $275 for a set of 4...and they tell you the set included 4. Honesty in advertising

Time saver & dependable
I ordered 2 sets and they were delivered on time in the Torklift Company box, not an Amazon cover box. A simple set up and a easy install. The old Torklift tiedowns blocked the 2014 Ford F150 gas door. In two seconds i released the new tiedown which provided an east access to the gas door, and closed it in one second after a gas up. These tiedowns are quality made and attractive. I love the convenience of these tiedowns. I just hope I can sell the old ones.

Best in Market - Could use some price competition
The Torklift product line is superior to all others. I do much backcountry bouncing on dirt roads with my 3/4 ton GMC and pop-up camper. I have had two other brands either come loose and fall off (spring cylinder type, or chain type). These get lost in the high desert and are never seen again. I now use four fast-guns and the Torklift camper tiedown system, Which is a bolt-on extender package from the frame. Should of done this years ago. Hardware is very pricey with no competition in the market. Would be good to get some variations on the theme out there.
