Q: Is this *active* noise-cancelling? (hushes external sound when you switch it on). Or is that just a word they put in the title to increase sales?

No. It’s all down to a good fit / seal.

Q: If i want to buy a slightly longer cable, would any 2-pin iem cable work or does it have to be a specific one for the amount of drivers? thanks

I purchased the KBEAR 2 pin with no mic £11:99, it’s 115cm long in total, works fine, any 2 pin should be ok

Q: Any drummers using these? Any good?

I’ve found them great, comfortable and don’t fall out. However I’m using a bc2 drum throne so don’t have kick drum through the iems. Everything else is about as good as they could be without going for custom iems. I have a click track 3 vocalists guitar bass snare overhead and a room mic and with some clever panning everything seems to find its own space nicely. Worth a shot for the price!
