Troy BattleSights set the world standard for performance and durability. Now, Troy has developed a rugged low-profile sight designed for firearms with top rails higher than the standard M4. For shooters who favor a sightline that’s as close to the barrel as possible, or for those with raised top rail systems, the Troy Micro BattleSight provides an ideal solution. The Troy Micro BattleSight greatly enhances weapons such as the new IAR, the Sig Sauer 556 Pistol and Carbine, POF 416 & 417, FN Scar, Robinson Armament XCR, Heckler & Koch 416 & 417 and other weapons with raised top rails. Troy Micro BattleSights are rugged, reliable and Battle Ready. Sold as a set only. Made in the U.S.A. - Black

Gray if you like lower 1/3 targeting
Great for target if you like the lower 1/3 look. Tritium seems to go extremely well. I like the site specifically because when they are deployed they’re locked in place and cannot be pushed back down without pressing in the release. If this review was helpful please let me know by clicking the “Helpful” button below the review.

Spend the money on Troy
One of the best iron sights I’ve owned and I have them all. Make sure you are looking for a low profile sight picture these are low on the rail. Works great sighting under a red dot you just have to get low on the gun. Tritium is a nice touch in low light. I’ll be ordering high mounts for running without optics. Expensive but worth it top quality. A firearm is only good If you can aim it. My only gripe is you have to manually flip them up no button to pop them into action.

I do love Troy
It's hard to beat Troy on any of their sights. The Tritium works quite well if charged. I much prefer the HK type front sight to most post and wing AR 15 sights. Being an old man I might have mistaken one of the wings for the front sight in my life. Not that being in a hurry or under stress could ever be a consideration there. I prefer to have a good set of iron sights on my AR 15's that generally mount large scopes. The troy sights fold down out of the way of the scope but you still have them securely mounted in case of some sort of scope tragedy.

Truly best of the best and built like a tank
Back up iron sight are supposed to be just that - your backup. When your scope breaks or battery in your red dot fails, this is all you've got left. I'm not worried about zombies or the apocalypse either. I'm talking about lugging all your gear out to the range and realizing you left your red dot on since the last trip. With BUIS you can still enjoy your day. Truthfully there are plenty of other BUIS manufacturers that work great, and even magpul has cool flip up plastic ones. But after shooting a lot for many years, I've noticed other brands eventually decaying and losing their zero or plain old integrity over time. I've never had a problem with Troy. They are super accurate and never lose zero. You can drop your gun right on them and they take a beating fun. In some ranges I find it a little dark too - so I splurged for the tritium option. Worth it. Makes me enjoy shooting with irons more than scopes to be honest. You should buy the Troy sight adjustment tool though. It makes life easier when setting these up for the first time. As far as style goes, I like the rounded sight style as I feel it's easier to align front and rear more quickly. There's nothing wrong with the "V" style Troy offers that's common in many AR platforms. It's just taste. After using both and getting older, the extra curvature of the rounded sight helps me acquire targets quicker. Personal preference. So yes - I would say you should spend the extra bucks and get the Troy and if you shoot in dimly lit places like I do, get the tritium option. Enjoy.

the tritium tubes are small and the glow is dull. I don't think it is based on expiration ...
I purchased these for a Saiga 12 shotgun, and they are solid. Indeed, the tritium tubes are small and the glow is dull. I don't think it is based on expiration but more the diameter of the embedded tritium tubes. I have a Ball Nedu watch that glows brighter with bigger tubes. Ultimately, they work. They aren't garishly radiant, but they work as indicated. Extremely sturdy. Well-built. The tritium is a bonus. The quality and construction is worth 100%. For me, it was worth spending an extra $40-50 to get a little glow for those that don't mind spending a little more over the base model.

Solid, easy to install, small and out of the way. Look great.
Great iron sights. I do wish they popped up with spring assist when you push the button, they simply lift to place, no unlock necessary which is cool too.The rear sight has a second peep hole, a smaller phone, which flips easy. The only issue I have is, the front sight is a bit difficult to adjust even with the troy tool. Also, this package comes with a tool. But yes a bit troublesome and stiff.Other than that, they work great

When the best is needed with BUIS, go with Troy.
When the best is needed with BUIS, go with Troy. It seems like a simple statement until you really look at all the competition, not to say some are "bad" but none really come close to Troy "built like a tank" Troy.Do yourself a favor and order these sights and be rest assured that they will serve you well for a lifetime.

Counterfeit!
When I received the product it felt almost aluminum-ish light. Then I saw that they used a roll pin through the pivot pin to secure it, which looked shoddy. Certainly not what I would expect for this price tag. I immediately e-mailed a Troy Industries representative with some photos. Within 30 minutes they contacted me back with bad news, it was counterfeit. I will post a photo with blue arrows depicting what NOT to have on a real Troy Industries Micro Tritium HK Style Front & Rear BattleSight set. The below items correspond to the photograph;1) The font on the bottom of the sight is not correct.2) The large collar on the rear sight within the adjustment field should not be there.3) Part numbers have not been used on the base in 6 years.4) The roll pin in the photo is not correct.
