Wired Remote Control

Works great! No battery, easy to use. I recommend this to anyone who wants to avoid possible movement of the camera when pressing the shutter.

Lots of people are leaving bad reviews because they are trying to plug this into the headphone jack. On my Fuji XT3, the correct port is inside a door above the SD card slot! I purchased this product because I am doing a lot of overhead 90 degree product photography. I don't want to have to reach up high for the shutter button and accidentally change settings or focus. This works great for that. I can push half way to make sure I got focus and then press all the way down to take the photo. Also works for start / stop video. I am using an external monitor and this is a Godsend for my product photos.

It works but what you get is what you paid for. The build quality is not great. Not sure how long I will be able to use it. But for now, it works as expected.

My astrophotography workshop leader suggested getting a wired remote because often when you're out in the middle of a cow pasture or on a remote beach, your cell phone app doesn't work. And this works every time! Love it. I used it to capture more than 50 long exposures to create a star trail image. Yes - there are intervalometers and other ways to do this, but I kind of enjoyed hitting that button every 30 seconds.

Not much to say here. It just works. I really like the button lock feature for 1-2 minute long exposures. I can set the shutter and pace a bit to kill the time and stay warm. Just make sure you turn on the appropriate setting on your Fuji, and you'll be set for long exposures!

First off, it does work, but... The cord is incredibly short. It's probably fine if you're standing behind your camera while it's mounted on a tripod, but if you step away at all, the cord definitely won't reach anywhere. Also, it's super cheap feeling. The button is awkward to press. There is a half press for auto focus, but it's near impossible to use it without inadvertently pushing the button all the way down. It also has a button lock for long exposure, but it's really hard to press it up to the lock position. It honestly feels like it's going to break every time I use it. I wouldn't buy it again.

Simple, easy to operate, requires no batteries.

Works great, way cheaper than the Fuji remote.

The fujifilm xt3 camera uses a 3.5mm headphone/mic jack. This cable release has a 2.5mm jack and does not fit.

As I mentioned it worked moderately well for a couple of years. In the two years that I have used it, there were times when it would not fire the shutter or when I wanted a long exposure, the shutter would only stay open for a very short time. Over all though, I was reasonably pleased with its operation.
