We can offer the 6" RC in combination with the EQ3 mount for a very attractive price; it is a true allrounderAdvantages of a RC telescope compared with other systems:-- with f/9, faster than a 6" SC or Mak -- illuminated field is much bigger -- you can use 2" eyepieces and full size SLR cameras without vignetting -- two hyperboloidical mirrors with 99% reflectivity lead to a bright image -- faster cool-down time and no dew problems because of open tube design without front correcting plate -- enough back focus for all kinds of accessories -- fixed mirrors and 2" Crayford focuser with 1:10 dual speed transmission - no problems with mirror shift -- corrected field is much bigger compared with a 6" SCVisual observation:Especially for deep sky observation, the RC design performs very well. Recommended maginfiction range from 33x through approx. 300xImaging:Photography is the mayor field of use for such a system.
